I am not a smoker, first off. I just purchased(from a person not a company), an oversized chair/ottoman set, it is suede or microsuede. I had it in my house for about an hour and now I smell cigarette smoke all over both items, and now my living room is starting to smell also. I have called a professional cleaner about the furniture but have yet to hear back from them. I need to know what I can do to rid my house of that smell, and what I can do to eliminate it on the chair/ottoman. I tried febreeze, a whole large bottle and it did nothing, then I tried odor cide and it took some away, made it fainter but it is still there. I have only had this chair in my house for a few hours and it is driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I dont want to have to get rid of these pieces.

I don't get what is going on! My boyfriend of 6 months did me wrong last weekend. He said he would call me and didn't. I called him and tried to make plans for the next day and he never answered my text until the next night when he wanted to hang out. But because my reply wasn't prompt he said "maybe next week." I was mad but didnt say anything. I was trying to figure out how I was going to handle it. Then Monday at work he shows up sick. I was already mad so I wasn't very nice to him. I wasn't really mean, either. He went home sick and I haven't heard from him until about 30 mins ago. I sent a text at 9 to ask if he was better and at 1:30 he says he's better, thanks for asking.

What is the deal? Is he done with me or what? I feel so hurt by him. I've put so much effort into our relationship and he treats me life this? I don't know what to do. Any help???

Take the example of the chicken and the egg question, 'What came first, the chicken or the egg?'

Since there must be a chicken to lay an egg one would say that there must have been the chicken first. However there must have been an egg from which the chicken hatched that laid the egg. Therefore there must have been a chicken to lay the egg and there must have been an egg from which the chicken who laid the egg hatched which must have been laid by a chicken .... etc.

So my question is, firstly, who does someone go about solving this question without relying on external information, i.e. the chicken evolved to the point at which we know today or god created the first chicken?

How does solving this problem help in the explanation of the origin of life on earth? Evolution and creation theory both rely on circular reasoning, creation is true because the book says so and the book is true because all things were created, evolution is true because things evolved and since things evolved evolution must be true. Neither of these arguments hold any credibility.

Please explain if possible

OK- This christmas were going to my boyfriends parents house and they want to do this:everyone buy a gift up to $75.00
wrap it and don't tell anyone what it is, then we pick a # and whoever goes first gets to pick which gift he/she wants to unwrap. What my question is -WHAT CAN I GET, TO GIVE??
I HAVE NO CLUE, AND I CAN'T ASK MY BOYFRIEND OR HIS SISTER BECAUSE THEY MAY GET MY GIFT AND IT HAS TO BE A SUPRISE TO THEM....... I was thinking maybe a couple of little presents in one. They are rich people too so they probably already have whatever i get them!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, If my daughter, who is five, can't go to a birthday party, should she still give something ie:gift, card, etc? I don't know if she should just give a birthday card and say that she is sorry that she can't make it. Or does she need to do anything at all? This is one of my daughter's good friends.

Also if she isn't going, do we need to call the parents to tell them that we are not able to go, or just not contact them and assume that they will understand that we won't be going.

Abandon me because i choose to live my life differently? Even as christians should they disown me....act as if i wasnt apart of the family. I'm slowing trying to come back to god. But i dont need them to push and force things to happen. For the last 10 years they refused to see me. They wont even talk to me on phone. I have spoken to them on the phone a total of 5 times over the last 10 years and half the time say forget my name or refuse to say "I love you" back to me when i say it to them. I know that homosexuality is not condone by god. But im dealing with things they do not even understand. They say even seeing me would be a sin, they would say "its okay" for me to be gay if they were to see me. From another christian i would like thier opinon on this...would you walk away from your son or daughter? Someone that you once pushed out of your body..someone you raised. How can a mother do something like this and have christ's love in her? shouldnt she be loving me unconditionally?

How many years back do the 3 credit reporting agency's go back in your credit history in calculating credit scores? For example if a credit card from 11 years ago is still listed on my equifax report today can I ask it to be removed given it is greater than 10 years ago?
