If a TV has no tuner, then it is called a monitor.
If it is called a "Tv" then it has a tuner and an antenna input.

MOST TVs will have a TUNER and all hookups....

IF you have cable or satellite you don't need a tuner, because the Cable/Satellite box is necessary for HD and Premium TV channels anyways.....

If you don't have either one, the ATSC tuner is required for Hi Definition reception. A Digital Tuner only does Low Definition picture reception.....
