Who is saddened and appalled that in recent polls as many as 1/3 of the Americans polled still think that Iraq and Saddam were behind the 9/11 attacks?
No matter how quick Truth is, it can never seem to catch up to a Lie.

I am so sad, I just need to vent..
I've been on my 2nd date with a guy I've met in a club, 3 weeks ago. On anf off we've also been chatting online so I found out many things abt his life. He's from Germany..here for 1 year, with an intership.

He told me among other things that he didn't get along with his parents for a long time. That they lived in a smaller village, were very strict, would ask him to work when other kids were playing, wouldn't let him travel and anything he did wasn't good enough for them..so he was happy to move out to college and get away from them. He says he needed to get away from the village and see more. He says now that he's travelled all over the world etc..that he's getting the masters degree, he says he reconciled with them and they're proud of him. He just visited them a month ago for his sister's wedding.

I am just suprised..didn't picture him as a "wild" thing with such tensions with his parents. He seems on the calmer, patient side, what I see.

Budding roses come and gone,
a callous world still carries on
vainly trying to look beyond
a pain that knows no soothing.
Little flowers hid from sight,
many colors dark and light are seized and swept into the night. Roses kept from blooming.

As self indulgence rules our land,
some children just don't fit the plan
and so we pluck them from God's hand.
Is our destruction looming?
Precious buds of God's design,
grand a gift of love divine
where earth and heaven intertwine,
yet their rose is kept from blooming.

May we learn to hold as dear
what God Himself has planted here.
And may we make the choice in fear,
lest we keep God's rose from blooming.

The joys this earth will never know,
little smiles that never glow,
lives left longing to unfold.
It's a tragedy we're choosing.
The sweetest gift that God could give,
He made to grow, to love, to live.
So help us Lord to let them live
for they're roses meant for blooming.

I have a 2004 Mitsu Lancer, the start up has began to become slow- so I was told to change the spark plugs so the starting of the car would be faster, after changing the spark plugs- i turned the car on, car fired up, then after staying in idle for 5min or so, car shuts off- i fire back up- car seems to be just dead- i try to restart and nothing at all- I recharged the battery, after that car fires back up- but again after a few minutes in idle- car shuts off - what else should i be looking for? i've check all the plugs and wires to make sure i put everything back in it's place- not sure what else to look for

I lost my mom this past February and I am not sure I can handle the holidays this year. It was bad enough, I lost her just before my 30th birthday, right after my daughter was born and right my mom just turned 48. I feel so sad all the time thinking about it. I cry all the time.. How do you deal with it? I don't know how to celebrate when all I am is sad.
You can say I do not have a father, he is Australia living with his family over there and has not come to USA since he left in 1996. I have two younger sisters and they are thinking the same way I am.

I'm an expatriate and it has become obvious that most expats here have some mental or emotional problem. Everyone I know is crying tonight. I wonder what sort of weekend I will have. It's the pits. I have another few months here...it's only the money thats keeping me here believe me. Not to mention the inter-continental fighting, bullying and superiority of certain folks!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read books too much and spend too much time on this URL.

Are any of you peoples with acne also cashiers?
Think of eveywhere you have found money personally. Now think of where other people keep money: in their shoes, in their socks, in their bras, in their underwear! EEEWW! Not to mention what your sick weirdos do to money. Its been on the News that feces (crap) among other nasty bodily things have been found on food serving trays do you think its not on money?
Over handling of 'filthy' cash and touching your face. What do you think that does? My worst cases of acne were the times I spent as a cachier.
So, this is not a question but just a warning for you cashiers with a newly developed acne problem to just pay attention to how much face touching you do at work. My mom and some friends can verify this theory.

Please star my question if you've found this true or beneficial. I'd like many people to realize this problem. Thank you.
