You definitely need to see a doctor today. Whenever you have a fever that high, nearly 102, for more than a day or two, you need to see a doctor. It often indicates an infection. You probably have a respiratory infection like bronchitis or pneumonia.

You may have a chest infection, which is best cleared up with antibiotics. Speak to your doctor.
