In class we were covering how the US courts ruled that another country was fined for it's citizens committing a terrorist attack. And we were noted to related it to last quarters notes as to the US definitions and the DoD's classification of terrorism. Oddly, being forms of terrorism in itself. We are reviewing a case where a US muslim, was attacked by a US soldier who has ties with a Arian Nation "group". Thus, a racially motivated attack with added threats to the victem's family. If the military sees all enlisted men as representatives of the states, and the soldier, who was on duty at the time, attacked a civilian US citizen, and also has ties with a group who is listed on the terror group lists. Doesn't that mean that the US supported a terrorist since the army only gave him a fine. The muslim man's report was tossed out and basically ignored. But he reported several more confrontations and threats if he pursues taking the soldier to court. So can he sue both the US and soldier?

I also would appreciate answers examining the differences... what exactly does a serger do that a non-serger doesn't do? Thanks in advance. Do fashion designers, professionals and small business seamstresses use sergers or something else? what are the disadvantages of a serger / and a regular sewing machine.

I have a root canal scheduled for over 2 months from now at the sliding scale clinic. I recieved plenty of antibiotic to clear it up, but they prescribed me literally enough painkillers for less than 2 days by following the bottles recomendation. I have one refill for each, but that is another 2 days? or are they making it to where I have to go in every couple days for another 10 pills? Why would they do things this way?

Ok. This is the fourth or fifth time I have been invited to a "diaper party". So a woman has a baby shower; then a couple of weeks later I get an invite for (in my opinion a second baby shower) this diaper party, where you are supposed to bring a package of unwrapped diapers for the new baby.

I find this to be really tacky. Is this a new thing, is it regional? I'm from Michigan, and I'd like to know if you find this tacky and where you are from.

im with my boyfriend for 2 yrs now and were getting stronger and steady everyday... my problem is i have this coworker who im also dating, he's someone whom i can say my type... at first were like friends but as time goes our feeling grows more deeper and we know we feel the same way...


he care for me more, i can say im happier with him
even if i am with my bf i always think of him...

but i don't wanna break up with my boyfriend cause im not so sure if my coworker feeling is true( i know its true but i just wanna be sure....)

i love my bf and i cant seem to let go of him and the memories shared...
but i want him and i don't wanna regret it in the future if i wont chose him cause i know we have the spark....

I suffer depression & anxiety disorder as well as OCD & Tourette's, & I'm on SSI & Social Security. I want to work, but many people tell me I shouldn't work or else it'll be hard for me to get my benefits back. I have my college degree, & I still can't find a job, so I'm back in school. Lots of things interfere with my concentration & focus, & I get distracted easily. The problem is that no one wants to hire me, but I don't know what it is that I'm doing wrong on my application & resume that make an employer not want to hire me. I know I don't have much work experience. I can't keep a job because people think I'm annoying because I always feel the need to explain myself when my supervisor tells me I did something wrong. I never did well with relationships, & people get turned off easily by what I do or say, but I don't mean any harm. Employers have fired me for finding out I have mental illnesses. I feel depressed because I can't live a normal life like everyone else.

I will visit Koh Chang in mid November and am wondering where should I book a hotel, on Kai Bae Beach or White Sand? There is very little crime, everything works properly, people obey the traffic laws, children are pleasant and respectful, it's almost unreal.

I don't think it's religion, because while Austria is more religious than the UK it is less so than the US. Yet going to either of those countries after visiting Austria is like a visit to the zoo. All that sensuality, aggression, body-pride and body-shame...

I don' t think it's because it's so small (as in "small is beautiful") because Ireland is also small, yet Ireland is more like the UK and the US.

Is it because Austrians are not allowed to beat their children, so you don't get that culture of violence? Or because the schools are better? Or because of the social safety net? Or are there ethnic reasons? Or because "high culture" is more prevalent than "mass culture" in Austria.? Or because the default value is order (rather than freedom in the Anglo-Saxon countries)?

A lot of this could also be applied to Scandanavia as well.
