I have some serious confusion about the tax that i pay from my earnings. I work as a software consultant. Plz can you make some time and do some calculations as per the numbers that reflect my paystub. Below mentioned pay is for 2 weeks(15 day) period pay details. Its the recent pay slip and this is same as earlier ones.

SALARAY::: Gross $ 4160

TAXS & DEDUCTIONS:
FICA 318.24
FED WT 807.44
VA ST 216.69

TOTAL Deductions = 1342.37

Net pay is : $ 2817 ( 4160- 1342.37)

The pay roll is run by ADP.
In W4 form filled by me, option A,B,E are checked by me.

As per deductions i see, that tax cut seems to be around 33%. Why is it much high.?
Plz can some one explain about the deductions and reason for why am i paying more tax than my frnds who are equal to my gross pay. Am i also paying the employer tax as well which otherwise my emplyer should pay.?

This is the weirdest dream I've ever had. I had it a few years ago but it sticks out visibly in my mind. In the dream it seemed like it was the early 90s. I was a British boy of about 12. (Which is very weird because I'm a American teenage girl.) I was in the car with my "mother" and we were driving along in some British town and all of the sudden we were struck by another car. I got smashed by the winsheild glass and half of my head was blown off. When I woke up my head was THROBBING. It was very painful. What I was wondering is if this has anything to do with reincarnation. I don't believe in it, but I think about it sometimes, and I wonder why I had a dream about some completely unknown boy and how he died.

I have a brother sister pair of ferrets of about 2 years old. Both of them sleep all night and almost all day, when we bring them out to play the boy lays around on the carpet or grass or wherever we bring them out and sometimes looks around or walks around for a minute but then lays back down n yawns a lot and just relaxes and when the girl is out she is non stop moving and digging if outside and jumping on everthing and after a couple hours shes tired and then we put them back in the cage and they sleep like theyve never slept. The female seems to get her exercise but the male gets none and everyone says ferrets are really hyper.

I work full-time, attend college classes full-time and have a part time internship. ->It's a pretty hectic schedule, so I was wondering if anyone can offer a few simple pointers or suggestions how I can stay organized and stay ahead of the game? <-This particular semester isn't neccessarily difficult, but there is a lot of work involved, with many assignments. I'm more concerned about keeping organized with my schoolwork without getting stressed out.

Can anyone explain to me why there are so many people who hate him?! I think he's a FANTASTIC actor! If you've watched more than Titanic, you might agree! I think he really makes his characters believable, and isn't that what acting is all about?! and he's proven himself in many different kinds of roles. Amongst us all, i'm sure we agree that the men and woman in harm's way are heroes and deserve at the very least to have the full support of their nation behind them while they are in harm's way. I know this is America, and we are lucky enough to live in a democracy where people can say what they want to say. However, that does not give them the right to expect they will not be held accountable for their statements. So with that being said, do any of them stop to think just for a second that some of their redderick is poison that the soldiers do not want to hear? I'm pretty sure the soldiers do not want to hear that they are in Iraq because they are not smart enouigh to have done anything else with their lives, or that they have been compared to Nazi's. Pro or anti war, it is the duty of our great nation to seperate thoughts of the president from negative comments towards the military, who protect the rights of ALL loudmouth political figures to say these types of things.
