Can anyone explain to me why there are so many people who hate him?! I think he's a FANTASTIC actor! If you've watched more than Titanic, you might agree! I think he really makes his characters believable, and isn't that what acting is all about?! and he's proven himself in many different kinds of roles. Plus, he's a great environmentalist, and who can complain about that?!

I know I've been poking around on IMDB and half the people who post comments are just very rude about him, saying he can't act and so forth, it bothers me. haha.

Well, my husband hates him because he says that he has a "big head", but I think he is a modern day Marlon Brando. The Departed was simply the best gangster movie ever and he had a lot to do with it. He was wonderful in Blood Diamond as well. Can't forget Romeo and Juliet from my high school days and Titanic. I have loved him since Growing Pains and he has just gotten better every year. I think he deserves an Oscar and will get one soon. Oh yeah, and he is beautiful and concerned about things other than being a celebrity. You don't see him getting drunk and driving his Beamer around and getting arrested.

I agree with you! He is very sexy(of course he's Italian). He is a phenomenal actor and I loved Titanic!!! He is great in all his films. He is a great person and yes he does care about the environment.

I agree with you 100% i too think he is a fantastic actor, i think a lot of people still see him as being the pretty boy from the "cheesy sinking boat film" though. Shame, cause he is fabulous!

I aint in love with him like most girls like him cos they think hes sexy, i don't but i will say that he is probably the best actor ive ever seen hands down, He def has talent cant take that away from him.

i know i totally agree with you he is such a great actor and i just watched the titantic the other night. it gets better everytime i watch it. he is sooooo hott too!!!! i dont understand why people hate him i guess they are just jealous

I really don't follow him, but I agree that he is very good. I really liked him in The Aviator (Howard Hugh's Story).
