My stepfather died before I was able to see him... I knew he was dying but he didn't die of the canger that plagued him, he died suddenly of a coronary embolism. I was so angry with myself for not getting there in time. I learned to tell people I love them (and sooner instead of later), and to have no regrets in life. I would rather take risks than later regret not having tried.

I think it is ironic on how after all the mistakes and the quagmire Iraq has become, president Bush finds himself in a win-win situation. If he keeps the troops in long enough, they will be able to stabilize the situation until he gets out of office. Whoever gets elected or even someone else later on will have to pull the troops out at some point, then Bush can claim. "When I left office, things were improving in Iraq, and now you pulled the troop and look at what happened". Of course ignoring the reality that as soon as the troops are pulled they will all just kill each other anyway no matter when the troops are pulled. And if he is forced by congress to pull the troops before he is out of office, he can say, "The surge was working, and you made me pull the troops out and now look at what is happening" when it all goes to **** anyway. Since as log as you keep the troops in you don't really fail. It is impossible to prove a negative. I guess the man is no as dumb as I thought he was.

I didn't plant them until sometime in July - the plants are huge, the leaves are big as dinner plates, there are buds for flowers, but I was supposed to plant them much earlier in the year.

The plants are growing very quickly and spreading out, but there are no small pumpkins developing yet. I'm wondering if I'll have to go pumpkin shopping for Halloween.

I've had 2 miscarriages and am 6 weeks pregnant for the 3rd time. I'm having my hCG levels monitored. At 5 weks and 2 days it was 6100 and at 6 weeks it is 11,600. Is this a normal rise for this time period?

What is the whole point of confession? I see nothing in the old or new testament that states we have to confess our sins to a man in some boxed in closet. Really, I thought we were suppose to pray to God. Also, I dont really think those priests give good advises anywayz, so I dont see the whole point of confession.

I'm a writer...children books as well as some others, but this first are in stake here. Friend showed me this few days ago (http://www.childrensliteraryagency.com/)...he thinks it's a real deal.
I on the other hand can't believe it...not without a checkup. They sound too good to be true. Has anyone had any experience with this agency (or whatever it is) and is it worth of risk to try publishing over them? Please help...
