I'm a writer...children books as well as some others, but this first are in stake here. Friend showed me this few days ago (http://www.childrensliteraryagency.com/)...he thinks it's a real deal.
I on the other hand can't believe it...not without a checkup. They sound too good to be true. Has anyone had any experience with this agency (or whatever it is) and is it worth of risk to try publishing over them? Please help...

The answer is a big fat NO. If you had done your homework by checking at Absolute Write Water Cooler Bewares and Background Checks or Preditors and Editors, you would have your answer.

This is what Preditors and Editors has posted on their site about these jerks.

Children's Literary Agency, The: Strongly not recommended. Also a Top Twenty worst according to Writer Beware. A literary agency. A Division of The Literary Agency Group, Inc.

That about says it all, but if you Google these folks, you will see many of the other writing sites have them listed the same way. They are NOT legit. Run fast and far. Pax- C

They appear to be very, very sketchy. I checked them out through Predators and Editors, and they've got a very strong notation to make writers wary. For more information, go to the link below.

in my opinion this may very well be legit but it strikes me as one of those home internet industries....it should'nt cost you anything but i know there are way more effective ways to shop a book.
