I know I am going to take a lot of punches for this but I've heard that the Roman Catholic Church is the richest organization in the world. Is this true? If so why don't they give all that money to the needy and I'm not talking about the homeless, I'm talking about things like starving children in Africa. I recently saw the bishops home in Grosse Pt. Michigan. The Fuking thing looks like Buckingham Palace and it's for one person that was aperantly absent the day they covered the page in the above formentioned quote by Jeuses. I am a Catholic and a religious person but I dispise the greed that is the hidden agenda in the Church. Hidden agenda: Extort 10% of members income so we can live like fat cats.
What is your opinion, I am courious to know?

I just want to see the motive here.

logically, it makes no sense. if there is no god, then why does it matter whether people believe in god(s) or not? i understand a healthy argument on some aspects of religion... but atheist evangelism? why?

I keep thinking it was called a knights tale, but that isn't it. It takes place in the medival time period though. That is all I can remember about it though. I watched it when I was in junior high or early high school, so probably around 1994-1996ish. But i dont know if it was new then or not.

At the Federal level, the House of Representatives has the sole power of impeaching the President, Vice President and all other civil officers of the United States. Officials can be impeached for: "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors." The United States Senate has the sole power to try all impeachments. The removal of impeached officials is automatic upon conviction in the Senate.

I stand corrected if you can prove me wrong, but impeachment is brought on by the HofR, right?

Next, the Senate has the sole power of impeachment, right?

Last, the Senate, upon conviction, removes the official from his/her capacity, right?

What would it say about Congress, who turned a blind eye and funded the war, if Bush was formally convicted and impeached?

Since (Democratic) Congress basically turned the other cheek when Bush decided to invade Iraq, is this the sole and overpowering reason why Bush can't be impeached?

Arguments? Thoughts?

I started using drugs when i was 15, used untill i was 23, quit for 3 years, then recently started experimenting again.
The 3 years i was clean were extremly lame with me sitting around not having anything to do, feeling like an extremly hugh loser.
I dont understand how some people are happy seemingly all the time naturaly.
when i am not on some type of drug, i am shy self conscious and worry all too much.
Was i just doomed to a shitty set of brain chemicals.

I've noticed on several cooking shows that duck is always referred to as something that should only be cooked medium rare or medium. I don't get it. Why isn't this like undercooking chicken? I always cooked my duck well but apparently this is a "fowl" pas in the culinary world.
