I keep thinking it was called a knights tale, but that isn't it. It takes place in the medival time period though. That is all I can remember about it though. I watched it when I was in junior high or early high school, so probably around 1994-1996ish. But i dont know if it was new then or not.

It would of been either Dragon Heart (in which He did the voice of the dragon) or Fiorst Knight bothe movies take place around mideval times and bothe came out within a year of each other. First Knight came out in 1995 and Dragonheart in '96

It was First Knight (1995). He played King Arthur and Richard Gere played Lancelot.

First Knight, with Richard Gere, but there was another one where he played the voice of a dragon, & I think Dennis Quaid was the knight in that one.
