I want to start a praying mantis fighting enterprise. I am going to train them all like Rocky Balboa. I have one of them right now and I am going to try to find him a mate. There is one that lives up the street in a garden. Do you think people will pay to see praying mantises fight?

First what Michael Vick did is something that isn't remotely funny, your question is funny except that part.

Dogs are animals, a praying mantis is an insect so I don't see your punishment being the same.

First, regarding you finding him a mate - do alittle research on their mating habits, because it is said that after they mate, the female will bite the male's head off and eat him.

Second, I personally don't think that it would be interesting enough to draw a crowd. I once owned a slug racing enterprise, and it just didn't go over very well with the betters. However, my armadillo racing faired quite nicely.

Forget about dog fighting, he's still trying to figure out how to get that marijuana past security checks since he's going to be flying a lot soon.

You could wind up in jail. Praying mantises are protected in Pennsylvania.

By the way, I wonder if when he was in school, he ever claimed the dog ate his homework.

Thanks for the laugh. You'd have to fight males who hadn't bred or females, because when the praying mantis breeds the female bites the head off of the male.
