sleeping with wet hair can only cause you a bad hair morning. I have not gone blind from it nor have I gotten head aches or caught colds.

I'm trying to see through my trifocals right now. So, if there's any misspellings, please forgive me.

You see, I went to sleep one night with my hair wet. I had just gotten out of the shower and didn't want to dry it...BIGGEST mistake of my life. I woke up the next day almost blind--everything was blurry, so, I went to the hospital. The ER Dr told me it was b/c I was too lazy to dry my hair for 31 years of going to bed w/ it wet. So, I'd say yes.

LOL Seriously though. LOL
No. Unless maybe you douse it till wet in gasoline or lamp oil. Then maybe light a cigarette... that just might do it.

If it can be proved- I'd like to see that scientific study. But, they're too busy saying that eggs will kill us and then 2 years later telling us that they're actually good for us. Who know?

NO! I NEVER heard that one! Ever. All the old people in my family used to say if you went to bed with wet hair you were were more likely to catch cold.....which made a certain amount of sense because back then they didn't have air conditioning and slept with windows open, and damp night air coming in.

I highly doubt it.

Maybe there was once a certain type of shampoo that had harmful chemicals in it, but no hair care product would be able to be produced if it had such an affect as going blind.

Nahh! You might get a cold or a headache if you leave the window open and it's a chilly night, but the worst that can really happen is that your pillow gets a bit damp. Which is a bad idea if you're prone to allergies as it could get mouldy...

No. It would not make you go blind. However, sleeping with damp hair traps moisture in your head and you are most likely to get a bad headache when you wake up. It is not advisable as its really bad for your head.

No...

This is an example of what we call an "old wives tale". The most that can happen is you get your pillows wet.

Maybe they made up that tale so that your not going to wet you pillow.

I've slept with wet hair before. I don't think so.. It gives me a headache, though.
