I've had 2 miscarriages and am 6 weeks pregnant for the 3rd time. I'm having my hCG levels monitored. At 5 weks and 2 days it was 6100 and at 6 weeks it is 11,600. Is this a normal rise for this time period?

That seems pretty normal. Its rising fast, so that is a good sign. Good luck. I know its hard with miscarriages, I hope you get what you want.

Here are mine from this pregnancy:
4 weeks 6 days: 1392
5 weeks 1 day: 2557
5 weeks 4 days: 5779
6 weeks 4 days: 24,300
The levels can vary a little, whats important is that your levels double every 48-72 hours. Your levels 5 days later hadn't quite doubled yet, so your OB may want to to check your levels one more time since yours are rising a little slow it seems. It's good that they went up though. Here's what I found on the internet. You may want to call your doc tomorrow and see what he says. Good luck.
Slow-rising hCG. Unfortunately, even if your levels are rising, the failure to double every few days is not a good sign. This type of pregnancy can go on for several weeks, but will almost always end in miscarriage. A single set of tests that do not show a doubling can still be fine. Usually another set will be ordered if you are low or borderline.

The hgc level has almost doubled, you are doing just fine.

Yes it seems to be doing good...
I hear its supposed to double ever 24 hours or so...
