This past week (8/29 to be exact) I sent in my resume with cover letter thru email via careerbuilder.com. But, after taking a good look at my resume and cover letter (after I sent it), it didn't seem "good enough". I've spent the last few days revising and want to send both in again.

Is it appropriate to re-send my resume and cover letter (via regular mail) to the same company? I'm not even sure if they got my resume the first time and they don't have a contact number for me to check.

How do I explain myself for re-sending my updated resume?

Help please!! This is a great job and I'd at least like an interview. Closing deadline is 9/15.

I did a clean sweep last week and a box popped up saying my hard drive was 84% fragmented. I know this is bad. I tried to run the defragmenting program, but it said I didn't have enough free memory to run the program. I run windows 98 my computer is an antique! Any help is much appreciated.

I am thinking about getting some sort of small celtic cross tattoo on the inside of my wrist. This would be my first tattoo. I've heard that this is one of the more sensitive area's to get a tattoo. Is this true? I'm also in college studying to be some sort of early childhood teacher, so do you think that I would be looked down upon more so than if I didn't have a visable tattoo? like a few days ago, it was at night, suddenly all of the electricity power in my house and neighborhood, it all turned off..
the whole house turned black, all of the electricity was OFF
why was this happening, it was on Wednesday and Thursday night.
its not my fault, because it also happened in our neighborhood, so how can i prevent this..

My wife says it's like a salary to the girl who runs the daycare and that if we went to a bigger place they would do the same thing, but if we need an extra day we have to pay MORE? If we arrive early or come late there's extra fees?!!?!?! Is this the same everywhere? I'm really not liking the daycare industry right now. I'm a car dealer and WE are always called into question for our practices - THIS is ridiculous!

My grandpa was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer(the worst there is). He has been going through chemo and it has taken a toll on his body. Doctors predict he has about six months at the most. How do I explain to my five year old sister that he is going to die? I'm afraid if I say or don't say the wrong thing, we might run into some uncomfortable questions later.
