My best friends name is Esther...whenever she introduces herself she says "my name is Esther...like Esther Roll off Good Times...but no resemblance!" I dont think she likes it much...neither do I. She gets ppl to call her Starr. But if you like it then go for it. I like the spelling Esther. Middle names that goes with it are

Esther Nicole
Esther Rae
Esther Lynn
Esther Re'nae

Good Luck in choosing a name!

Ester is an ok name. I like the spelling Esther better. Only because this is the way I am use to seeing it spelled that way. Ester or Esther either way is good.

I just love the name Esther....I would spell it with the h....it is pretty unique, so no need to make her spell it 12 times a day.

I think Ester Grace sounds good together.

Esters are a class of chemical compounds and functional groups. Esters are formally formed in a condensation reaction between an alcohol and an acid in a reaction known as esterification. The most common type of esters are carboxylic acid esters (R1-C(=O)OR2), but other acids including phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, or boric acid also form analogous esters.

However Esther is a biblical name which I particularly like

Esther is the spelling I'm more familiar with. As for a middle name, I would choose one with a single syllable. How about Ann or Joan for instance?

My mother likes the name Esther, but personally I do NOT like the name, but hey w/e floats your boat. My mom worked with this lady, and I think her name was Esther Grace, not sure if that sounds good or not because I'm no expert on that matter. (I think she spelled it Esther)

I am compiling a family tree and have come across quite a few ancestors with the name Esther . It seemed quite popular in Victorian/Edwardian times and is of course an Old Testament name. I rather like it.
