The Almanac predicts a cold & snowy winter in my area. The summer has not been hot here though...quite pleasant. New England

check the fur on the squirrels and other wild animals.
fluffy tails and thick fur yes smooth not so big tails warmer
winter but need to wait for shedding before its accurate fro that you can watch any indoor/ outdoor dog or cat...

i take it you're not from the uk with a question like that !! ho ho!! we have had the worst ever-but last year was the best ive ever known !! weird weather here you know ! id just say to you, you knever know, just look at the window, even the weather men cant cant it right !
