According to the Bible, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. If I recall correctly it doesn't say anything about the number of angels or how long it takes. But, Lazaurus was carried to heaven by angels, as mentioned in the New Testament.

It doesn't give a definite answer in the Bible, but the Bible does say that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. If you are saved of course. So I would imagine its in the twinkling of an eye. When my Uncle died he definitely seen at least one angel for sure because he raised up in bed and pointed towards the door and said look athere, there he comes, and then fell over dead. And that is a fact my friend.

What happens? Nothing. The scriptures plainly say that "In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you retur to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return" according to Genesis 3:19. Also, Ecclesiastes 9:5 says that "the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all."

I don't know, as I have never died and have never spoken with anyone who has died and who would be able to give me this information.
