Go get an attorney right now. No matter how much it costs, you are going to need one. Next time, do not say one thing to the police until you have spoken with your attorney. This is why they win every time. They question people who don't know better and tell them everything. You may go to jail, depending on your age and the situation of the jails in your state. More likely, you will do a very short time in jail, community service and maybe probation. Regardless, go get an attorney. You will only be afforded one by the court if it is a felony charge, and I don't know if it is in your state. Problem is all the identity theft that is going on right now; they have toughened the penalties A LOT! for things like this. However, you didn't make it, so you are in a better position that way. I know attorneys are expensive, but it's a lot better than going to jail.

Don't listen to Brandi Jo, I am a law student, not a pre-law student, and the laws are different in every jurisdiction. She has no clue.

Hire a lawyer. It's your best chance at leniency from the judge if this is your first offense.

Leniency doesn't mean you'll get away scot free from all punishment. You may get something out of this, however; with a lawyer, your chances of getting a harsher punishment are less.

Here's a good example. My son received a reckless driving ticket. I told him to hire a lawyer. This was his first offense.

He followed my advice and the ticket was reduced to speeding. He still had an increase in his insurance premium but his record only shows it as a speeding ticket.

If you have tried this before for other reasons and it's on your record, you might suffer greater penalties.

Like I said, hire a lawyer.

I dont think so(if this is your 1st offense) but you will most likely get probabtion and probably get your license suspended for a year. You can call a lawyer out of the phone book and get a free consultation.Ask him all the questions you want.Good luck and no more fake ID's...lol.

We all did stupid things when we were young. Please learn from your mistakes.

are you older than 21? If you are you'll be at a higher chance. If not, most likely lose your license and id until your 21. You might get probation and fines.

Quite possible and for good reason. You have shown that you have no respect for the law.
