I'm not sure who it's by, or what it's called, but the lyrics go:

Took all the trees and put them in a museum

I think this is in the chorus:

Paved paradise......

Sorry I don't know anymore.....

Thx!

I have looked around my Church, and I have talked to folks at other Churches, and this is hardly a rare thing. There are many single people in Church, many widows and widowers, but there are also lots of people who attend Church but who have a spouse who does not attend. If you are one of these people, does this have any effect on your relationship?

Of course, in an ever increasingly plural society, there are couples of differing religions or denominations, and there are shift workers, or people who are just disenchanted with the church. So there are many reasons why one person might stay away while their spouse attends.

What's your experience - if any - of this?

i work as a gallery assistant at an art center and i recently saw an old professor of mine. we talked and i said how i got what i hoped for years ago. and she re-asked this question that i had in sculpting years ago. i've been thinking of it still and wondered what others would say. i know what i value now is sleep and beer. something i can actually afford to do these days and its great.

Backpacks would kill me & I`m so sick of them. I would just swing my backpack on one shoulder anyways. Is this a good idea? What do you perfer?

It's now been 9 weeks since my miscarriage and I still have had no period. Did hpt about 4 weeks ago now first one came up neg so I did 2 more a week later and both came up positive. Went for blood test which showed hcg levels at only 40. My doc said it's prob left over hormones from previous pregnancy but her response was "oh" when I told her about the positive tests I had done. She wants me to come in so she can examine me but she seems confused!. No d&c was required as I miscarried at 12 weeks and there was only a 5 week yolk sac. I am curious how long it took you to get your period back after a miscarriage?

Atheists are obsessed with Christians ... they ask question after question, they mock us in their answers ... but why? If they dislike us so much, why don't they just simply ignore us? Well I believe that deep down inside, atheists know that God exists. Somewhere, deep down inside, atheists know that God loves them, and they are asking for help. If they truly believed that there is no God, they wouldn’t be so obsessed with Christianity. When Jesus returns, they will see.

Fellow Christians, what is your opinion on the atheists? Do you think they truly don’t believe in God, or do you think my theory could be true?

Civil unions between male couples existed around 600 years ago in medieval Europe, a historian now says.

Historical evidence, including legal documents and gravesites, can be interpreted as supporting the prevalence of homosexual relationships hundreds of years ago, said Allan Tulchin of Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.

If accurate, the results indicate socially sanctioned same-sex unions are nothing new, nor were they taboo in the past.

“Western family structures have been much more varied than many people today seem to realize," Tulchin writes in the September issue of the Journal of Modern History. "And Western legal systems have in the past made provisions for a variety of household structures.”

There are many transitional fossil for many species, including our own, yet the fundies demand even more transitional forms, and when more are found, they demand more again.
Clearly they aren't aware of the rarity of fossils and the unique conditions needed for fossilisation.

When other resources are cited explaning the many corroborative dating methods, they will deny the well documented science behind them, and offer the standard creationist party line spiel about the "inaccuracies of carbon dating" using "known" false and dishonest examples to do so, and which are not part of the mainstream sciences.

Isn't it strange to see these fundies demand and evidence and cited resources and automatically reject or ignore them, when their beliefs require NO EVIDENCE and are based on hearsay and faith.. How convenient..

Science merely describes the natural world honestly, and has no agenda for or against any religion, yet these people dishonestly attack and misrepresent science.

There are 3 guys. A Bishop, a bandit, and a Buddhist. The Bishop is good, the bandit is evil, and the Buddhist is a middle-of-the-roader that firmly believes in reincarnation. Each one has a radically different life and belief system, but they have one thing in common: they all plan on having their bodies cryogenically frozen when they die, so that they can be thawed, healed, and revived once the technology is available in the future.

Eventually, they all die, and their bodies are laid out and frozen next to each other, with each man in his own chamber. Their souls disincorporate and move on. The bishop goes to Heaven, the bandit goes to Hell, and the Buddhist is reincarnated into his next body. First he’s a bear, then a goat, then a cat, a dog, an eagle, an elephant, and finally a human baby boy. When he’s 9 years old, something extraordinary happens … the technology arises to revive the properly frozen dead.
