A week ago we put the car in the shop because it was apparent that you could hear the transmission shifting. It wasn't a big deal, but we took it in anyway. 3 days later they say they can't find anything wrong with it.. but then the garage guy wanted to take it home and check it out over night. He did that and the next day he said it needs a transmission overhaul. $2.8k So for a few days nothing is wrong w/it and then they decide that it needs an overhaul... kind of odd right?

It wasn't detrimental to have it done yet, and even now the car sounds the same! It has a noticeable shift. Did they rip us off? Should we call and complain?

Was it rude of the server at Shari's Restaurant to cop an attitude at me when she was walking by me and I've asked her that if she had a moment would she give me a refill on my drink and then she would cop an attitude at me telling me that she was busy cause she was on her way to serve another customer?

As soon as my server copped an attitude at me my face instantly turned red and I've felt humiliated by her attitude, then she later apologized for her attitude and she told me that she doesn't like it when people are calling her when she's on her way to help another customer.

Plus another issue I have is that they give you your bill soon after your food arrives and none of the other restaurants do that, unfortunately the incident happened at around 10:30-11:00pm on a weeknight and she was the only server there

I personally own 3 adults and am selling puppies, and I adore all of them. If I could keep the pups I would. They are a beautiful breed and its unfortunate that they have such a bad rep. I was raised around them and have 3 daughters who are being raised around them and love to play and ride our dogs. I just think its sad the way people have to fear them because of all the a$$holes out there that mistreat, misuse, abuse, and fight them. Anyways, I am kinda fed up with all the bad news that you hear about them and just wanted some other positive opinions that may still be out there!

My aunt used to cut her sons food into perfect circles, because he would not eat anything that was not round. He was completely spoiled. I remember my parents made one meal for the whole family. If you did not like it, you took a no thank you spoon full. If you refused to eat, you got nothing else. If you came back later claiming hunger you had left overs. We were never picky eaters because of this. But now I hear of parents making whole seperate meals for their children. It is rediculous to me.

He admitted to committing a crime. He spied on someone in a bathroom stall and gave commonly accepted hand signals indicating that he wanted sex from that person. When it was denied, he didn't go away - he kept insisting.

At the very least... he watched someone else peeing. Isn't that sick and twisted enough for you to stop being so defensive about him? Can't even ONE of you say, "Oh, my God, thats disgusting; that man has nothing to do with me or my party and I will not defend him"?

My relationship with my 15 year old stepdaughter is very difficult. My husband got very upset with her and told her that if she doesn't have respect for us she is not welcome at our place. My SD is very upset with him and she blames everything on me. Every time he doesn't show up at her baseball game because he is extremely busy she tells her coaches and friends that her dad's bitchy wife didn't let him go because she is jealous of her mother. I told her one time that she was acting like a spoiled selfish b**** and she told all her friends, her mom and her stepdad that I called her names, made fun of her and called her a b****. I apologized for that, I said I was wrong but I also told her that I am not going to let her disrespect her father. She is acting hateful towards me and says that I told my husband that she couldn't come to our house anymore. She always says good things about her stepdad, so I must be a problem. What should I do? Should I just not worry about her hating me?
