I think it was great how many people can write about a running marrathon,and make it exciting.It is one of those books you would just look at the title and be like boring... but it is a very good read.

I have had to move home until I finish my degree in 6 months. My mother is 68 and her "partner" 45. He has controlled her since they got together 15 years ago. He also threatened me with violence from 16. He now has a problem where he only sleeps for 4 hours per night and alternated between not bathing for 4 months and being obsessed with housework and things being used ( he will look at the electric meter whilst boiling the kettle) and taping up the central heating so it cant be used to not moving off the settee for days and not doing anything but being agitated if anybody moves or answers the door. Its driving me crazy as my mum accepts it as she says she needs a man. WHAT CAN BE DONE HERE BESIDES MOVING STRAIGHT BACK OUT AGAIN???

I was at a party with friends and i met this chick. I thought she was digging me, so i asked for her number. She gave me her number but when i called her a couple of days later she forgot who i was and said she was too drunk and forgot.

I took this offensivley and i did not call her back. Did i take it to hard or should i have given her a chance?

BTW, not being shallow but i could get better looking girls then her any day, i just thought that was very rude. I did not feel like losing my dignity to a chick that forgot who i was, specially if she isn't as good looking as other girls ive gone out with.

This might be a bit long winded but bear with me - Yesterday I bought two mollies and a siamese fighting fish to add to my 3 month old tank, I already had 2 red rams, 4 platies and 3 leopard catfish in there. I had read a lot online that siamese fighters are fine along with other fish as long as there are no other fighters in there, and the woman in the fish shop told me there would be no problems - but a few hours after adding them to the tank my male ram had destroyed the fighters tail and was absolutely torturing him so I put the ram into a seperate wee tank on his own for a while to let the siamese fighter establish himself, but then the siamese fighter started trying to eat my mollies so I swapped and put him into the tank on his own and let the ram out. Everyone was getting on fine and I left them overnight like this, but I got up this morning and one of my platies is dead! What's going on???? Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do?

I was diganoisd with graves disease last month,my heart has been in a-fib the entire time and has not converted to nsr. A couple of weeks ago I started to have chest pains, went to the er, was admitt'd to the Cardiac unit, and a couple days later the pains stopped and the tests ran really didnt show anything out of the ordinary. Last week I had chest pains again, went to the er, and the dr said that due to my meds ects. this could be cause me to have the pains, which have been short, kinda blows to my chest pain. Was was released from the er. Last nite i started having the pains again & over nite it has progress's into a steady pain like someone is sitting on my chest and im now little problems breathing, am i paranoid cause of the a-fib or should i go to the er?
