English has been considered as international language & also for business since MNCs & exporting companies use english as official language.Proficiency in English includes capability to read & understand the language & the way words are pronounced as well as the sense in which words are used (though variations in usage is identified from country to country (Phonetics).It is better to confine to British pronounciation & meaning(in U.S.A ,in their way without slang in offical speech/writing.
This language is bridging the gap of language betrween countries. English Language skills & soft skills derivd out of English(Europian) & American people behaviour skills in business especially in Multinational Companies' context.
If one is a sales person proficiency in English helps in creating the customer by right presentation of product /service to prospective customers
