Lets say i intesely start looking for a job in electrical/computer engineering field starting today , how long do to you think before i find an entry level job ? anywhere , new york , connecticut or new jersey . doesn't matter , as long as i get a job

i graduated last december with 3.24 gpa. since it was against my wishes , i had to take my time , now i realize there is nothing i can do , but to take use of this degree and make some money , and pay for my own therapy , because i feel i will need one soon enough .. ( kinda serious )

i was working in a call center but i got canned 3 days ago , cuz i took some sick leaves ...

Simply put, Is it looked upon the same if I were to give to, let's say, a needy co-worker? Maybe a friend in danger of losing his/her home. So long as I keep it in the aspects of God's Glory. Maybe just by explaining that "The Lord has put it on my heart to help. This money comes from him, not me." What do you think?

I chose not to have children, so I had a vasectomy very young. Myself and others that have done the same, are frequently verbally attacked by our Catholic dominated co-workers. Sometimes we are called gay (usually by Hispanic men).

Calling us gay not only attacks those of us whom are “Childfree”, but they have also attacked the gay community. So they are attacking two, unconnected groups. It must be an insult to a gay person to have the term used to describe a straight person in a negative way.

A few gays have chosen to make negative comments to us “Childfree”. They say things, “Well, I can’t have children, would would you straight people give up the biological right?”. It seems that the “Childfree” just can’t win.

The only people that agree with us are those whom regret having kids. They are the ones that will, when not in public, say, “You made the right choice”. The same people will never support us openly in public.

St Peter decides to take the day off to go fishing, so Jesus offers to keep an eye on the Pearly Gates. He is not sure what to do, so Peter tells him to find out a bit about people as they arrive in Heaven, and this will help him decide if he can let them in.

After a while, Jesus sees a little old man with white hair approaching who looks very, very familiar. He asks the old man to tell him about himself. The old man says, "I had a very sad life. I was a carpenter and had a son I lost at a relatively young age, and although he was not my natural child, I loved him dearly."

Jesus welled up with emotion. He threw his arms around the old man and cried, "Daddy!"

The old man replied, "Pinocchio?"

Boyfriend, girlfriend, exgirlfriend, exboyfriend, wife, husband, exwife or exhusband?
My favourite features about my exgirlfriend as they're the only two things that sticks in my head about her, are her last name and her kind and warm personality.
I do like more things about my ex there just the two things I like most.

Do you allow your teenage daughter /son to have their boyfriend or girlfriend sleep in the bed together?? Some of my friends seem to think this kind of thing is ok and its no big deal. She allowed her 16 yr old daughters boyfriend to come along on vacation and they slept together in the same bed. Call me old fashion but I think this is crazy. Shouldnt the parents be teaching values, morality, etc.......

I've examined my expenses over the past month, and next month I'm ready to start cutting things to save money! Here's a list of what I plan to do so far - you tell me what you'd add! : ride my bike to work on nice days; buy groceries in bulk, use some coupons, buy less/cheaper meat or other high protein foods instead of meat; switch to CFL bulbs, turn lights out when not in rooms, turn heat down or a/c off when not home; ditch my parking pass next to work, and park in free lot further away; use fewer cellphone minutes/plan; make errands more gas-effecient by doing everything in one trip when possible; driving the speed limit and not accelerating too fast, thus saving some gas; limit alcohol purchases (those weekend bar trips with friends add up!); buy used items or clothes when necessary, but limit purchases in general except when items are absolutely essential. AND just so this doesn't sound boring - plan one or two specific, cheap "fun" things for the month and budget for those.
