The funniest quote that I have ever heard, was the dying words of a Army General.
In the midst of a battle (old style - not modern), the General was taking a look through his telescope at what was going on.
His 2nd in command, said 'Sir, I think that you should get down, your a bit on show standing there!'
Do which the General said....
'Nonsense, they couldn't hit me from this dist....

I ignored a teenager throwing a cola can in the street. My 84 year old mum went back to tell him to pick it up. He swore and spat at her, but his mate picked it up and apologised. Older teenager walked away. My mum, taking back control of the streets.

I just love the sheer arrogance and bigotry of it. You just can't reason with that sort of mind which unfortunately still exists today in various forms/places.
