I've been using this for a month. You're supposed to use 1 patch a week, but I have had a couple come loose and so had to replace them....have got through 6 patches in my first month! Anyone else had this trouble? Also would like to hear of any other details you can give me about your experience of using this. Thanks!

that I'd divorce him. That didn't work. So I threatened that I'd kill myself. Now he comes home every night. Was it wrong to threaten him that I'd commit suicide if he didn't come home?

I know, I'd have to kill myself if he didn't come home some night. What does the Bible say about suicide? I know according to the bible I can't divorce him cause I have no proof of infidelity on his part.

I am on the pill and decided to skip my period last because I returned to my university and haven't seen my boyfriend for 2 months. Instead of taking the sugar pills, I started the new pack. about 2 wks into the new pack i started to experience veeery veeery light bleeding. is this normal?? Its very light, almost like right before a young girl begins to menstruate. I haven't forgotten to take the pilll AT ALL and i don't have any stds. WHAT IS THIS??? is it because i skipped my period last month by not taking the sugar pills?

I know this is a touchy subject for some people. But I'm really concerned now for me, my unborn baby, and my toddler. I went to the dr. yesterday for a routine ultrasound and he asked me if I smoked. I said, "no. why?" He said because I had white spots on my placenta showing that I had been inhaling smoke. I told him that I am around secondhand smoke every other weekend or so. He said, "that will do it" Then he told me that even when I don't smoke and I'm around someone that's smoking, it's like I'm lighting up myself. He also told me that my baby is more likely to have a low birth weight, under developed lungs, and more of a chance of SIDS than if I had smoked myself.

I'm so scared that something is going to be wrong with my baby. I usually go to visit my mom every other weekend. She smokes. From now on and after I have the baby, I don't want to be around the smoke and I don't want my kids to be. I don't want to hurt her feelings but I've got to tell her somehow. How can I do this?

I'm extremely superstitious. I got very silly superstitions too. Like if I hear the song One (the mary j blige/bono version) my day is bound to suck. Or if I meet a certain person, I'm gonna be unlucky all day. Oh! i have this green t-shirt that's really scary. I wore it at work twice and each time someone's family member died. The first time it was a colleague's grandfather and the second time was my boss's mother. It only affects people from work though. Weird.

When I was teaching in St. Thomas USVI in 1994, I started getting these mysterious fevers.

It would start with my fingers, toes, and nose becoming ice cold (so much so that my nails would turn blue) as my fever would climb to dangerous levels. I would have such serious chills I couldn't do anything, and sometimes all the shaking made me lose my lunch.

Ibuprofen and acetaminophen would bring the fever down and then I'd be right as rain for a few weeks, a month or two, then the same thing would happen.

This has been happening to me five or six times a year ever since, most recently on my return from New Delhi India yesterday. Now, the fever breaks and comes back in an hour or two which is something new.

My question is this: is it possible I picked up something in St. Thomas that I've never completely shaken - some kind of chronic tropical disease?

I'm going to the doctor this afternoon, but would like some non GP opinions.

We successfully got our baby off of formula last week and she is now on homogenized milk exclusively. We give her 2-4oz at each naptime (2x/day) and 6-8oz at bedtime. However, each helping of milk is being given in her bottle. At her one year check up yesterday, the DR said it's now time to get her off of the bottle all together. We have tried milk in a cup (sippy and regular), but she won't take it unless it's in a bottle. Has anyone been through this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

Like dane cook says... every group of friends has that ONE person that you all secretly hate, but they are in your group of friends anyways.

I have a friend like that, and shes been a notorious boyfriend stealer since 9th grade. Her original group of friends kicked her out and refuse to speak with her because she lied to them and manipulated them.... so she ended up in my group of friends. (what we like to refer to as "damage control") Shes an opportunist, and she jumps in whatevers happening around her (although it has nothing to do with her). She just eats it up, and she always has good things to say to your face, and aweful things to say behind your back.

have you ever had a 'friend' like that?
