I've been using this for a month. You're supposed to use 1 patch a week, but I have had a couple come loose and so had to replace them....have got through 6 patches in my first month! Anyone else had this trouble? Also would like to hear of any other details you can give me about your experience of using this. Thanks!

thanks for the answers so far. I haven't been using any lotion etc beforehand, have only tried applying it to my abdomen and buttocks...perhaps I should try using it on my back/upper arm? Where did you put yours?

It SUCKS. I got pregnant on it. It also left a itchy spot wear it was, never came off. Later I was told it is less effective then the pill. My doctor said to try the IUD, or the Nuva( not sure spelled right) ring in goes in and last's three months. You can put it in yourself. With insurence it cost me only 55 dollars.

I tried the patch and hated it! The patches made me itch and left a nasty ring around the area they were used. Mine never came off. I'm wondering if you used lotion or some kind of moisturizer before you put it on. Try the pill or the shot. I loved the shot - worry free.

I loved it, I put it on all four areas of the body, I felt that on the arm the pasty dirt ring was not as bad.
I never had a problem with it falling off though.
I have been on a few types of bc and found that was the most convienent.
