We went to our appointment last night and saw our little kidney bean baby. I am 8 weeks and 4 days along. We saw the flickering of the heart. The doctor said it looks like a strong heartbeat (but he told me that we would actually listen to the heartbeat at my 11 week appt). The baby measured 8 weeks and 5 days which is right on. I thought that i would be the crybaby but when I looked at my husband, I saw he was gettinga little misty eyed before he looked away. He won't admit it but just smiles when I say that.

The doctor wants me to come in and take a glucose test in 3 weeks since diabetes runs in both of our families. I was so in awe of my little one that I didnt ask if after I drink the "solution" and wait an hour, is it a blood or urine test that tests my glucose? If urine, will I know the results that day? How long did it take you to find out? What is considered a high number on the test? If you are high, what is done? Thanks!!!

Do you think moon landing was faked?...Probably another Nasa cover-up?...
just scroll down when you open the page..and compare the two photos of astronaut Aldrin facing the flag...

The first photo shows that Aldrin is saluting the flag...then the second photo: Buzz Aldrin's hand is down, head turned toward the camera, the flag is unchanged.

Im just curios because if you compare the two photos, the flag is not waving..

O_o

I dont really care about nasa ufo cover-ups...My main concern was: is moon landing also a coverup?..weird..

I purchased a newer vehicle and realized afterward that I cannot afford this. I went back to the dealership and was basically told that there is nothing that they can do for me. Isn't there some type of law that allows a person to change their mind on any major purchase? I always thought you had 3 business days to change your mind.

is there a restaurant with a private section or like a party room that i could use? i want to have a nice dinner for 10 to 15 people including games and such. i am baptised and confirmed lutheran of my own choice at the age of 14. i now attend a nondenominational church that doesnt baptise infants. i grew up in a household that didnt practice religion, but i intend on raising him christian. help me decide which to choose, having him baptised in a traditional lutheran church, or dedicated in my non demonimational contemporary church.

I'm so scared that my water isn't clean enough that my RES turtle is getting sick. There's some white fuzz all over his skin! It seems very excessive. My other turtle who's in the same tank isn't affected at all. They're babies by the way and I've had them for 4 months now. On a closer look it could look like he's shedding some skin.. but I'm not entirely sure... and it's really getting me concerned!

I dont know if you guys agree or not but the music back in the 80's and the early 90's was the best ever with bands out in scene like Whitesnake, Skidrow, Cinderella, Damn Yankees, Guns n Roses, L.A. Guns, Warrant, ACDC and many other.

Do you think that kind of music would ever come again ? I really miss all that glam. Now a days no band is close to what these guys were back then. What do you say ?

im almost 18 and have been at my job for a year and a half..
last summer i went a little crazy with the cash i was making and it set me up for a really tuff year having to pay my insurance and gas, ect.

i have been more responsible this summer but i constantly stress about my bank account..

My left foot started feeling strange about a week ago, and the feeling has grown more defined and more intense every day since. I can feel blood building up, in the middle, centre area of it. It builds up and up over the space of ten seconds, then the pressure is quite intense and verging on painful, then the blood seems to surge out and get through whatever the blockage was, and it feels normal again.

Spoke to NHS direct this morning and they were useless.

It eases when I lie down or elevate the foot. I'm not stressed, don't have a history of high blood pressure, but do have bits of cartilage floating about in my knees (apparently), which causes my legs to go a bit dead sometimes. I'm wondering if it's the same problem? I haven't injured the foot at all. Early 20s.

I had a repair center quote me $800 worth of repair to fix my car. But a friend of mine is a mechanic and he thought I just need one part. I went and bought a $12 part and had him put it in for me and now my car works fine.

As an Atheist, I am CONTENT with the fact that I will die one day and there will be nothing more. I don't see this as a negative. The thought is peaceful to me actually. I won't be scrambling around asking some man in the clouds for forgiveness for not believing in him all these years. I will be contemplating my life and what I have done to make the world a better place.
Just because *you* may need something to look forward to when you die doesn't mean I do.

Me and my 3 year old are bored out of our minds waiting for time to pick her up.

Anyway, does anyone know what they will be during in Pre-K, I really don't understand what all they will be doing and learning, since she is only there for 3 hours a day.

Another question, how do you keep all there art papers and othr school stuff organized whe they bring them home? How do you know what ones to throw away and what ones to keep, I am a pack rat and would love to keep everything, but I know that is not possible, so can someone please help me figure out what to keep and how to to store them and show some of them off?

How do ya'll do it?
