I have skied for 3 years now and only done season rentals. I can easily do Blacks without Moguls and can hold my own on Double blacks and am not bad on blacks with moguls. My favorite kind of skiing is the bowls you can hike up to that are very steep and not skied a ton. If I could have ratings on a ski this is what I would want it to look like.
40% Bowls
25% Moguls/Trees
15% Powder
10% Terrain Park
10% Groomed Blues/Black

I was looking at the K2 Apache Recons until someone told me that they might be to stiff
Now I am thinking about the K2 Public Enemy something in the Salomon XWing series or anything else that people can suggest.

Also I would appreciate suggestions on the style of boot I should get. Some people have told me that I should not get a stiff boot but I don’t know if that’s right.

If it makes any difference I am17 years old and very skinny at 6 feet 130LBS. My parents are pretty skinny so I won’t gain tons of weight.

Thanks for the help!!

I'll try to make this short as I can. My neighbor bought a house down the street from me, but then her and her husband split up. She moved back to Scotland and he went off to do contract work out of U.S. The house has been empty for a few months. It's completely paid for, there is no mortgage or loan out on it. But it's in both of their names.

She asked me to find out how it works Stateside when a house is sold; does the money go to the agent who takes a cut and then passes the rest to the Seller? How and where does the money transfer before it gets to her. I've heard of an escrow account: what is that? Does the agent set that up?

She's leaning towards giving me power of attourney to help handle some of this. In this given situation I could really use a basic run-down on the best way to proceed that will benefit her the most.

Her and her ex are working out a deal that will hopefully sign it all over to her and do away with the joint ownership, but she will split profit.

Indeed he has been called the father of history. So why does the denial kick in when it comes to what he has to say about Egypt?

Herodotus states: "For my part I believe the Colchi to be a colony of Egyptians, because like them they have black skins and frizzled hair."

We just bought our first home and it has the old popcorn ceilings. I have heard that if the house was built prior to the mid seventies, then it might be asbestos. This house was 1979, so I think we would be safe. Is there any way to find out that won't cost a lot of money, like a kit or a test?

Recently there's been a commercial on the Discovery Channel for a program called Blue Planet. At one point it shows some very odd looking fish. They are black and red, and the strange part about them is that they almost look like they have buck teeth. I highly doubt they have actual large squarish teeth like that, being fish, so I assume they are very convincing white markings. I would just like to know what kind of fish these are because I found them interesting. Would anyone happen to know what they are called?

(I can't find any pictures of them because I don't have their name, and I also can't find the promo for the show online)

something differant?

English has to be one of the hardest languages to understand. Read the paragraph below and try to understand the meaning.

Two individuals proceeded towards the apex of a natural geologic
protuberance, the purpose of their expedition being the procurement of a sample of fluid hydride of oxygen in a large vessel, the exact size of which was unspecified. One member of the team precipitously descended, sustaining severe damage to the upper cranial portion of his anatomical
structure; Subsequently the second member of the team performed a self
rotational translation oriented in the same direction taken by the first team member.

In plain English what does this translate to?

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after!

"President Bush's two-day summit with the leaders of Canada and Mexico, beginning today in nearby Montebello, is raising fears among some conservatives that the three governments are planning a European Union-style super-government."
"America is finished."

"Mexico and Canada are gone too.

"In their place: One massive country, the North American Union (NAU), bordered by the Bering Sea to the north and Guatemala to the south, the Atlantic to the east and the Pacific to the west.
"NAU citizens no longer spend dollars or salute Old Glory. They spend 'ameros,' and the flag that waves over its capitals shows the entire Western Hemisphere.

I've been married for 49 years. Where have I failed?

I've been in love with the same woman for 49 years. If my wife every finds out, she'll kill me!

My wife and I have the secret to making a marriage last. Two times a week, we go to a nice restaurant, a little wine, good food. She goes Tuesdays, I go Fridays.

Someone stole all my credit cards, but I won't be reporting it. The thief spends less than my wife did.

I take my wife everywhere, but she keeps finding her way back.

I asked my wife, "Where do you want to go for our anniversary?" She said, "Somewhere I have never been!" I told her, "How about the kitchen?"

We always hold hands. If I let go, she shops.

My wife has a black belt in shopping.

My wife will buy anything marked down. Last year she bought an escalator.

All my wife does is shop - once she was sick for a week, and three stores went under.

She has an electric blender, electric toaster, electric bread maker. Then she said, "There are too many gadgets, and no place to sit down! So what did I do? Bought her an electric chair.

My wife loves to shop at Bloomingdale's. I bring her mail there twice a week.

My wife and I went back to the hotel where we spent our wedding night. Only this time, I stayed in the bathroom and cried.

My wife drives the wrong way on a one way street. The cop pulled her over and asked, "Where are you going?" My wife said, "I must be late, everyone is all coming back!"

My wife told me the car wasn't running well, there was water in the carburetor. I asked where the car was, and she told me it was in the lake.

My wife and I went to a hotel where we got a waterbed. My wife called it the Dead Sea.

My wife is on a new diet. Coconuts and bananas. She hasn't lost weight, but can she climb a tree!

She was at the beauty shop for two hours. That was only for the estimate.

She got a mudpack and looked great for two days. Then the mud fell off.

She ran after the garbage truck, yelling, "Am I too late for the garbage?" "No, jump in!"

I bought my wife a little Italian car. A Mafia. It has a hood under the hood.

Three weeks ago, she learned how to drive. Last week she learned how to aim it.

I came home, the car was in the dining room. "How did you get the car in here?" "Easy, I took a left at the kitchen."

Calling Dog fighting a sport like hunting?
((CBS/AP) NEW YORK New York Knicks guard Stephon Marbury defended Michael Vick, calling dogfighting a sport and comparing it to hunting.
Marbury spoke Monday about the federal dogfighting conspiracy charges against Vick while promoting his basketball shoe in Albany, N.Y.
"I think it's tough," Marbury said, according to Albany TV station Capital News 9. "I think, you know, we don't say anything about people who shoot deer or shoot other animals. You know, from what I hear, dogfighting is a sport. It's just behind closed doors." On Monday, Vick said through a lawyer that he will plead guilty to a federal charge of conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities and conspiracy to sponsor a dog in an animal fighting venture. He also faces possible prosecution in Virginia.
"I think it's tough that we build Michael Vick up and then we break him down," Marbury said. "I think he's one of the superb athlete"
