Bill i do see a difference, but if these people truly cared about the animals wouldnt they have truely saved them? They didnt have to die.

Let's put it this way...if you were condemned to death, would you rather I let a pitbull gnaw on your throat, drown you in a bucket of water, or give you a lethal injection...doofus.

After your edit, I suspect you are just being wilfully ignorant...If you actually can't see the difference I feel sorry for you.

Last edit--dogs trained to fight can't be allowed in society...they are a danger to everyone and it is general veterinary practice to put them down when they are found. My wife works for a vet.

They were euthanized, put down painlessly. And they were no doubt put down because of how Mr. Vick and his associates raised the animals. Do you understand that? They put the dogs down painlessly because Michael Vick raised the dogs to be aggressive. It is Michael Vick's fault. They however did not beat the dogs, electrocute them or drowned them.

I hope you understand this and that this makes it clear to you, but I bet you have a different agenda.

There is NO real rehabilitation for a dog that has been raised from a pup to be aggressive and have a killer instinct. Unfortunately you either have to kill the dogs or keep them in a pen for the rest of their lives. And there are FAR too many abused animals to just pin up and feed for the rest of there lives.

What Vick did was wrong. I don't get your point. Am I missing something? It's one thing to euthanize a dog because of its health but to brutally kill dogs because they lost matches is wrong and the person has no soul.

Also for people bashing Vick. Leonard Little once killed a women while driving under the influence. He was charged with vehicular man slaughter but still is playing football. He later got another DUI in 2004.

Not the same but it just shows the state of our country and how athletes can get a free pass. I think the same thing will eventually happen to Vick. He will play again but not anytime soon.

It isn't the same thing at all. Vick kills his dogs by electrocuting them, beating them to death or shooting them. It is a HUGE difference. When the dogs that were fighting have been saved from fighting & are unable to be adopted out because they are mean, are euthanized. That is the humane way because the dog simply falls asleep & doesn't wake up. How would you like to die?? Being beaten to death, electrocuted or shot??? Or would you rather simply just feel a little prick from a needle & then go to sleep???

No its really not the same thing. Vick electrocuted, shocked, hanged, and beat the dogs to death. It's not the same as putting them to sleep peacefully. Those dogs were mistreated and a too dangerous to keep around people. If they attacked someone they would probably kill them.

I personally adopt all my dogs from local shelters. I pass by each cage and see plenty of pit bulls looking at you and please adopt me, knowing nobody will because people like thug vick has made it impossible. It is most likey they will all be put down. How can the vets save them but too humanely euthenize them? Mr. vick aka thug tortued those helpless creatures, so there is a big difference! Atleast they will be in no more pain and god will take care of them. Thug vick should rot in jail for each he had dog he ever abused, about 66, sounds like 66 years for each dog. But the thing that will hurt him the most is losing his football career. I hope he saved alot of money, he will need it!

Not really, they couldn't be save because of the way he raised and trained them. And he would have trained more to kill themselves. I guess you find putting a dog to sleep the exact same treatment as it getting mauled to death, drowned or electrocuted. Your logic is very basic and flawed. A sad attempt at being intelligent.

what i dont understand is why everyone in the NFL is just out to save their own skin...The owner was ready to fry Vick right off the bat because he's too big of a sissy to take some heat himself...when you look at the facts people have been proven to have killed another human being and still get to play but Vick kills a freakin animal and goes to jail and no football? I.E. Leonard little in 1998 killed someone drinking and driving and returns to the rams shortly after, he then drinks and Drives AGAIN...but yet still hasnt been kicked out of the NFL...and Vick kills and animal and he's a heartless bastard? i think the world needs to take a step back and step off their damned pedistool

Because idiots like Vick trained those dogs to be vicous and unownable, they have to be put down humanely. Not electrocuted, hung or beat.
Do you even have a clue?
