Indeed he has been called the father of history. So why does the denial kick in when it comes to what he has to say about Egypt?

Yeah i read that too. White people generally accepted that the ancient Egyptians were Black until the 19th century.

Then with slavery, they had to justify oppressing these great people.

So they took Egypt out of Africa, and said the natives were "red" or "brown" not Black.

Which is stupid because Black people are usually red or brown.

Egyptians wore braided styles and locs that we STILL see today on African descendents.

When was the last time you saw a white person with braids or locs? The "dreadlocks" you see on white people are rarely even, uniform, and neat like on Black people.

But the paintings in tombs depict a person wearing even, uniform locs or braids.

Most Ancient Egyptian women did not cover their breasts, although they were bedecked with elegant jewelry and braided hair. Beautiful.

When have Europeans ever been THAT comfortable with their bodies, except on a nudist beach, which is more of a fetish.

But some women of various African nations still do not cover their breasts.

The original name for Egypt is Khemet, which translates to "Land of the Blacks".

perhaps because he travelled so much? I recently went to a show that was about the Berber tribes around the Sahara and they also quoted Heredotus a lot. They said that he documented the different tribes found around the desert. I need to read a bit more about him myself.
