The group I'm talking about had a one hit wonder. It was a lady in funky psychedelic outfit and a oriental keyboard player. The song had a dance beat, need to know the song, can't get it out of my head. I'm on vacation in Yosemite. Heard song at a restaraunt, HELP!

of absence I have not had the chance to get to know my little girl after a bitter divorce she is almost 8 years old and have just seen her for the first time in 5 years two days ago. Mother is wanting to work it out for the sake or her I'm caucious and of course I still Love her mother always have but am more concerned for my daughter and self at finaly becomeing a family, we live 4 hours apart and I will sacrafice what ever nessesary to see her any advice???

Visiting an historic church on holiday recently, I noticed a copy of "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren - a book that I've seen mentioned in various places recently. So, I picked it up and leafed through it. Frankly, I was amazed. I don't know quite what I was expecting but it seemed to be just page after page of "God is this" and "God is that" and "God wants you to do this" and "Your purpose in life is such-and-such"... In other words, a whole book devoted to utterly unsubstantiated claims, presented as cast-iron undeniable facts. Can people get away with this? If I wrote an advertising article with completely unsupported claims about Product X, I would rightly be in hot water. Is it acceptable for religious claims to be entirely exempt from this kind of safeguard?

How can I give my partner what he wants?? He has asked me to give him time to get his head around our recent seperation. We are not living together at the moment. He says that he still loves me and that he IS comming home. But he just wants some space to sort his unresolved hurt out( I had told him I know longer loved him and wanted him to leave) He tried for months to get me to change my mind, he went out of his way to spoil me and loved me In everyway. But still I said no as I was just so confused. Well anyway, I realsied what he ment to me. I dont no where to start and feel so lost. I have that big lump in my throat and my minds all over the place. I feel so down, I Cry all the time and I text and ring him like a lunitic. I hate doing this but I cant seem to stop. I will get a strong moment where I think I can do it, but the most of gone without texting Is 5 hours. Its so horrible I feel like my mind Is going to explode. I trust him at his word, so how can I stop hounding him?

i wear a small -medium for tops like american eagle and hollister and a&f......and i wear like a size 8 pants(a little chubby)......i'm not afraid to say my height and weight. i weigh 175 and i'm 5'3.....how can i lose weight????? and still look the same? and the bmi thing says i'm obese...but i don't think obese people where size 8 pants and small-med shirts...

She dosn't care for Catnip. But she smelled the bengay on my knee and she reacted like she would if it were cat nip. I'm afraid she got some on her front feet, just a tiny bit, I tried to wash it off but she wouldn't let me catch her. She rolled around acting real silly just like she was on catnip.She seems to be fine. But she is naping. She responds when I call her. She is acting normal. But I can't help but worry.
I am disabled and I don't drive a car anymore. Should I call the emergency number for the vet?

I have 3 cats. 1 adopted us and we adopted 2 others from the APL. Both cats have rhinotrach, and have given it to the 1st one too. I love all 3, and hate to get rid of them, but the sneezing is getting out of hand. The walls, windows, floors, everywhere! They are just non-stop. I cant locate any info on the disease and was hoping there might be a cure or at least something to give them that would eliminate (or at least reduce) the sneezing. Theyve seen the vet and he has given them liquid penicillin (didnt do a thing) then pills (again, no help). He says the best thing is to seperate them and they get rid of the symptoms ie: the sneezing. We cant keep them in seperate rooms, so they may have to find new homes. Any suggestions or ideas?

Mary Poppins was travelling home, but due to worsening weather, she decided to stop at a hotel for the night. She approached the receptionist and asked for a room for the night.

"Certainly madam", he replied courteously.

"Is the restaurant open still?" inquired Mary.

"Sorry, no," came the reply, "but room service is available all night. Would you care to select something from this menu?"

Mary smiled and took the menu and perused it. "Hmm, I would like cauliflower cheese please," said Mary.

"Certainly madam," he replied.

"And can I have breakfast in bed?" asked Mary politely.

The receptionist nodded and smiled. "In that case, I would love a couple of poached eggs please," Mary mused.

After confirming the order, Mary signed in and went up to her room for the night. The night passed uneventfully and next morning Mary came down early to check out.

The same guy was still on the desk. "Morning madam...sleep well?" "Yes, thank you," Mary replied. "Food to your liking?"

"Well, I have to say the cauliflower cheese was exceptional, I don't think I have had better. Shame about the eggs tho....they really weren't that nice at all," replied Mary truthfully.

"Oh...well, perhaps you could contribute these thoughts to our Guest Comments Book. We are always looking to improve our service and would value your opinion," said the receptionist.

"Ok I will...thanks!" replied Mary....who then checked out, paused awhile, then scribbled a comment into the book. Waving, she left to continue her journey. Curious, the receptionist picked up the book to see the comment Mary had written. Here it is.........
