fortune tellers do you think thay can see the future ?

I think that they just say a bunch of crap and then people have the mindset that what they said will happen. Then people look for things in their lives to justify what a fortune teller says. It's all in the head. I think that fortune tellers are brilliant, if they can swindle that many people out of their money and get away with it, they really have a great business!

Depends on what you want to believe.

Palm reading and fortune telling is a multi-thousand year old craft. We like to discredit these today because we have science, and think ourselves above such things, but ultimately they managed to get passed down through the centuries because there is some truth in them.

Why would something without some basis of truth go on for centuries? Eventually, it would get phased out, you'd think, right?

This is not to say most palm readers now-a-day are accurate, as I'm of the firm belief that the future is never set in stone, but the art of palm reading and other "fortune telling" relies upon taking what is, has been, and trying to formulate what will be. In that, there is some reliability, and a science. Palm reading is simply one of the oldest ways of trying to predict the outcome of a life.

Is it accurate? Probably not.

Is it worth looking into? Can't hurt.

I will say that a lot of fortune tellers play on current emotions, desires, dreams, and thoughts, and try to either tell you what sounds best (Which makes you a believer), or play on your personal fears (Again, making you a believer, if not a little paranoid).

A good fortune teller is like a mystical psychologist. For them to read you accurately, they need to be intuitive about you, and make educated claims based on their past experiences and what they know about you, mixed with the craft they've practiced.

So....can you determine the future by a palm? No.

Can you try to predict the future by a palm, and the person at hand, and experience? Of course. We all do it anyway, just without a palm :)

If you got a prediction that you like, go with it and make it true. If you got a prediction that scares you, change it. It's that simple :)

Nobody can predict the future for certain, but we can sure as hell take a good guess :)

As for a Palmist yes I have experienced one and after I did my birth chart and my numerology and he was 100% right

As for fortune teller that went out in the 1950's I think they are now called Mediums and yes that can guide you and help you through a situation in you life in the future the rest id up to you : )

People only fear what they have not experience or just don't understand : )

I would say most of your replies that are negative are from people that have not experienced it or fear it

Palmistry takes some talent and a lot of study. Few have the talent and most don't want to bother with the studying. When I was young and rather wild I was told I would live to be an Elder. I really didn't care at the time....what I wanted to know is how many girls I would know. The truth of things change as we grow up and old.

Palm readers...It's hard for them to be accurate because the lines on your palm change from month to month.

palm readers are fakes. all they do is memorize the meanings of the lines in your palm and then look at the lines, each line has a different meaning, and then they tell you what it means. ive never, and wont ever, been to one but i bet they play it up for you.

i was on gurl.com and too a little palm reader quiz where you looked at your palm and chose which line was most like yours and then it gave you what it all meant. for me it was pretty accurate.

It has been said that the palm lines you have are kind of more science than "telling the future"

I was shocked when a friend looked at my palm and named off a few things she "saw"... things I never told her. So I firmly believe there is something possible there...
