I came to US and started working at age 55, there is no way I can collect 40 points by my retirement age. Will I get any social security benefit when I retire? How much would it be approximately?

Hi, I am a creative (typical Aries) person who tends to come up with a lot of ideas and start a lot of projects (mainly writing projects), but then I get bored and move on to the next project before I've finished the previous one. The only way I have ever finished anything was when a grade or deadline someone else set was involved, but I can't be in school for the rest of my life. I've thought about writing a plan, but I'm so lazy I don't think I'd ever start it much less finish it. What I'd like you to tell me is how you developed discipline/focus or overcome distractions/laziness and met your goals. Good and detailed ideas only-none of that "just do it!" crap or any other cliches. Thanks!

as I read many of the Q&A on yahoo I conclude we have some pretty stupid people here in the U,S, have they forgotten the men who have died fighting for this country and to uphold its ideas and way of life? many want a one world gov, others want to let any and all come to our country and so many of them want to live on welfare when they come here , evidently these people don't work for a living and pay half of ther salary or earnings in taxes to support these free loaders, is it so important to be P.C. that you would give away your birth right? our forefathers came to this country with nothing and damned near starved to death in the process, and since then our men have died to preserve this nation, what kind of stupidity is this wanting to accept people who have nothing to offer not even their allegience, and many will destroy us if they can, you must know America is getting weaker daily.

my shrink says i was smoking to self-medicate my depression, but i smoked way too much and had a psychotic episode so i found out that i unfortunately cannot smoke anymore.
what are some ways that you have dealt with depression?? i just moved back in with my dad and i have no friends in this town. what do i do

Your odds are better at getting audited by the IRS and then slipping, falling and dying in the shower.

How can you be so sure that YOUR religion is right when everyone else on the planet says YOURS is wrong and THEIR'S is right? If you were born Muslim, that would be your belief, if you were born Jewish, that would be your belief, if your born Myan 2000 years ago, that would be your belief. So just because you were born into a particular religion, that automatically make you right and every else is wrong? Isn't that a bit arrogant?

So how do you justify being right with the odds of 0.000238095238????

Okay, this was a horror movie from the late 80s or early 90s maybe. It takes place in an old movie theater and these teen kids are planning a triple feature showing horror movies. The set the place up to have little tricks going on during the movies like the seats were going to shock you etc...

Anyway, a killer ends up in the theater too and starts killing people. The main female character also played in a lot of horror movies around the same time, she was the daughter in the original Stepfather, she was in Cutting Class and a few other low rate movies. Does anyone know what movie I am talking about?

I got this explanation from someone:

This sounds like a clique to me, like a social club where discrimination is exercised mostly against "outsiders", simply for the reason that they are not "part of the club". It doesn't sound like it has much to do with actual conduct of the followers, but more to do with just being a "member". So the same actions that are considered "sinful" and horrible when an outsider does them are condoned when done by a member. They still "crack down" on their members, but the members are granted much more leeway.
