Seems bazaar to me but lots of sad people live their lives vicariously through the lives of celebrates. Paparazzi furnish the gossip magazines with photos and stories to feed these people and make pretty good money doing it. The famous people act all put out by this but for many it fuels their careers. For those famous only for being famous like Paris Hilton, the paparazzi and gossip magazines are their career.

This is more and answer to your answer that they create the news.

I will no long have not since the death of Princess Diana watch any sports or so called celebrity information. I do not buy in to anything magazine nor pick them up nor read the covers. If it exploits other people I no longer participate. I am doing my part to stop this exploitation and idolization.

Will you join me.
