How can we we make public transportation more appealing to the masses of people who drive their cars to and from work every day?

He won't let me wear makeup, have a TV, listen to music when the kids are with me, wear ANY jewelry besides my wedding ring, wear nail polish, go to movies...etc. The thing is, I know he loves me, but he honestly believes each of those things is sin-it's how he was raised. I made sure and asked him about each of those before we were married, and he said he didn't have a problem with ANY of them...we've been married almost 3 years now, and I've noticed that one after the other has gone out the door...WHY?! He actually said something the other day about taking out the internet:S If it wasn't for my kids, I'd leave...but I seriously believe divorce is worse for the kids then me dealing with this. Anybody else been in the same situation? Any advice?!!

A travel conundrum for all you experienced travellers:

My boyfriend and I want to travel to Cologne on Oct 20th, then Heidelberg on the 23rd, Bamberg on the 25th then back to London (via Cologne or anywhere else) on the 27th.

What would be the cheapest way to do this?

I have a friend whom I am trying to help enroll in a college program. I am very "leary" of online institutions that do not have a ground campus program especially for a bachealors degree. (My friend has a busy schedule, so he needs a school that has an online experience b/c of the flexibility they offer.) I have considered one school that has an online and ground campus that is accredited by an agency called the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).

I have never heard of these accrediting agency. The only two I have heard of is North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

QUESTION TO YOU
1. Have you heard about this accrediting agency?
2. Is it legitimate?
3. Can go on to grad school with with a degree from a school like this?

Please offer any other advice.

Asalamualaikum,
I know that in Islam we don't believe in superstitions but there is something that I am unsure of. Some people say that when the palm of your right hand feels itchy it means there is money coming your way. I don't know if this is true or not but when it happens to me, money does come my way. One example, only yesterday my right hand was feeling itchy and today I received a cheque in the mail!
So my question is....is there any truth in this or is it just another superstition??
And please note: IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY THEN DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.

It seems the days of elaborate and extravagant album artwork that graced albums like 'Sgt Pepper's', or even symbolism such as from the cover of 'Dark Side of the Moon' have been replaced by and large by headshots and promo shots of the musicians themselves.

I've been with my girlfriend for three months now, and we have been sleeping in the same bed almost every night. But so far we still haven't had real "sex" yet. The farest we've got was just topless with panties on, we would kiss aggressively for hours everynight but neither of us would make the first move to go all the way. I think there is this game going on between us right now to see who would make the first move, but neither of us would give in. my mother in law is very needy of my husband. She has been out of state for the past 2 months. In that time my husband and I have been able to get a long perfefctly fine. She visits us 3 times a week, she also comes over on the weekend. I've told my husband that I don't want her here all the time, but he says that's my mother. She's been married for over fifty years to my husband's father(an alcoholic)so my husband feels the need to make up for his dad's pathethic situation. She has 2 homes out of state but chooses to stay in california were she has no home so my husband and his 4 married brothers have to scramble around. She relies on my husband for everything, i feel like my husband has 2 wives. One of the sister in laws asked her to stop coming over so much and her response was that she could come as many times as she wants because that is her sons house. What should I do? My husband and I have 2 children together and get a long most of the time, unless it's about her. help
