We will have a President. The only thing that will change, is congress will get term limitations as Americans become more and more disenfranchised.

Yes to a President but still hope the way the country is run will change dramatically. The two party system needs to be abolished. The two main parties are power hungry big money machines and enemies of idea's.Which brings me directly to Campaign finance reform.Real campaign finance reform. At this moment almost all elections and for President all go to the highest bidder. Most money wins, that's disastrous to any democratic society. So we need clean money campaigns.
Thirdly the electoral college needs to go.Popular vote should determine the outcome of an election. One person, one vote is basic and fundamental to have any form of democracy.

Change in this country happens because there is a real need for it. I don't see a circumstance where the country will need that dramatic of a change. The Constitution prevents one person from getting too powerful.

only way we stop having a President is if the country dissolves due to some war, and it would probably have to be a civil war.. I don't even think a loss in a world war would cause the breakdown of our system of government.... though a loss in a world war could spark a civil war.
