Asalamualaikum,
I know that in Islam we don't believe in superstitions but there is something that I am unsure of. Some people say that when the palm of your right hand feels itchy it means there is money coming your way. I don't know if this is true or not but when it happens to me, money does come my way. One example, only yesterday my right hand was feeling itchy and today I received a cheque in the mail!
So my question is....is there any truth in this or is it just another superstition??
And please note: IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY THEN DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.

Walaykum salam wa rahmatullah........ this really is superstition. There is no truth in it and Islam is against such superstitions. Blessings come only from Allah, there is no signs related to these blessings in the form of itchy palms or whatever else, so it's best to avoid such supertstitions because they could easily lead to Shirk - Allahu alem.

Barak'Allahu feeki

Things like luck and your example here have no basis in Islam.

We do not have good or bad luck according to the Quran.

So yes it is very much superstition.

I get itchy in my palms too but I dont get any money. :(

The old superstition about the itchy hands is this...

If your right hand itches, you will spend money.
If your left hand itches, then you will receive money.

When my right hand gets itchy, it is because I have a rash. And we all know that getting a rash is indicative of the destruction of the human race.

it is mere coincidence... don't pay too much attention to it...

superstitions are a form of the knowledge of the future, and thus it is not certain and thus are lies even if what is predicted became true... then that would be just a coincidence

Such superstitions are not part of any religion. But people have life beyond religion also!

That is called coincidence.

Make a diary of whenever your palm itches. Also record whenever you receive money.

Then see if there is any correlation.
