I have recently come out to my husband, some friends and family that I'm gay. I've been with my husband for almost 10yrs now. We get along pretty well and we have an 8 almost 9yr old daughter. We have been talking about getting a divorce. He wants to work things out but I'm not so sure that I want to because I wouldn't be able to be with a women and the sex with him is doing nothing for me. But my dilemma is this....I'm very worried about how this will affect my daughter. My husband seems to think that her life will be turned upside down and she will need counseling. Some people say stay for my daughters sake and others tell me to move forward and make myself happy. I'm not a selfish person. I always think of my daughter first but I'm not so sure if I stay that it will be better for her in the long run. If anyone has any answers for me I would greatly appreciate it. Especially anyone who has been in my situation. Thanks!

I know for a fact that many (most?) don't, but I've heard some people on this board express things to the effect that they actually do. I just want to get it on the table, so we can be intellectually honest here. Do you believe in Demons, devils or evil things (is spirits a good word? I don't know.) that effect life in the material (mortal, human etc.) world?

And please, nonbelievers, this is supposed to be a moment of clarity here, don't bring "fairys" "ghosts" or "Santa Clause" etc. into this. I'm being respectful of their beliefs, so too can you be.

It seems odd that while we are talking about the government being involved in universal health care and at the same time private savings accounts and privatizing pensions. The government may get your teeth fixed until you are 90 but the money for food to use those teeth on will be up to you to find. Do you support universal health care and do you support public pension schemes relying on "for profit" fund managers?

I am planning on raking out the gravel and then covering the driveway with tiny river rock. I am going to edge the side with railroad ties. I also want to add an extension off the side and that is grown in with grass. Should I till it up and dig it out or is there a better method?

in the 1920's a young woman was stabbed to death in a field not far from me, and the murder weapon was never found, i went on that same field last week with my metal detector and found a very old knife, could it be the muder weopon? would the police still be interested in it after all this time ?

There were no SUV's before there were CAFE standards.

Did the creation of the CAFE standards create the SUV market? I believe it did. Since trucks are exempt (and they should be) these behemoths are built on truck frames so they don't fall under the CAFE regulations.

If the CAFE standards are tightened to include SUV's, larger SUV's built on 18 wheeler cabs running on diesel will be created in order to supply the market for the demand of larger vehicles putting more pollution into the air then we have now.

A better option is to eliminate all CAFÉ standards. Sure, some cars would be bigger, but overall the fuel economy will go up because larger cars wouldn’t be built on truck frames anymore.

So my girlfriend and I lived together for two years. The mortage, bills, and car note are all under my name only. But I did report her and her kids a year ago on the tax return because she was hardly working. She commited adultry and is moving out. Are we common law married? Do I need to file for a divorce? What rights do I have and what rights does she have?

I want to sign up for a domain name. I know how to run a website-- make layout, code them, etc. I've had a couple very popular ones in the past. Now I want to dedicate myself to a new website and I want to sign up for a domain name. Does this cost money? If so, how does it all work? (making and coding pages, etc.) I usually use freewebs when starting up. Does it work the same way as that basically-- except with a .com/.net name? Please tell me everything I need to know.

Btw- what is the difference between the .com, .net names? I know the difference between like .tv or .biz but which one is the best to go with?

that didn't happen to me but I did let a stranger use my expensive phone,against my better judgement. After I gave her the phone she coughed all over it and her mouth looked like it was recovering from something, it was discolored (im thinking cold sores). Since then that phone has been retired. However I now have an emergency where my backphone has a problem and I seem to have no other choice but to use it. Should I? Im a germaphobic

Since i was 5 years old i have dedicated all my time to basketball. I have had personal coaches paid by my parents & have won at the national level at many ages. My high school team won state championship last year. I am ranked at the top 50 at the highschool level even though i am a freshman, & am considered a child prodigy since the age of 12. The problem is that people feel intimidated by my presence & i dont know what to do. My only friends are some of my teammates Whenever i walk into a room, like the cafeteria, people stare at me. I started taking mixed martial arts 1 year ago because Older guys than me always want to start fights & try to beat me up. As a result I have been suspended from my schools 3 times. The principle told me if it happens again, i will be expelled from the school. I dont know why they pick on me so much. It's not like i am cocky,could anyone give me some good advice?

I'm an accountant and I use Excel spreadsheest quite a bit to reconcile accounts. I have a colum of number then to get the sum I put in the formula =Sum(and the colums in here) and it giving me a total thats 1- 2 cents off (not each time but ever 10 or so documents). My co worker and fellow accountant experiencing the same problem on her computer. The program is on our individual computer so what is the problem and is there a patch to fix it?
