My 19 year old daughter wants to help out her female friend, who is an foreigner in our country, (USA), by going to Venice and marrying her friends' fiance in order to give him american citizenship. The plan is to divorce him here so he can then marry his real fiance. My daughter is a caucasian american, her friend and her fiance are Iranian.
I am worried it might be illegal and it feels ethically wrong.
My daughter thinks she is doing the right thing. What should I advise her to do? If she will even listen...

I had 4 quotes 2 months ago to get a supporting wall removed. No one told me to get building regs. The builder I chose was the cheapest, but he was the most intellegant to talk to, the most comprehensive with the quote and the one who gave me the most confidence.

I booked him last week but have been waiting for him to confirm since last Thurs. I called him 3 times but hew didn't return calls. I decided he was unreliable...

I have now got 3 new builders coming round to give me new quotes. They have said to get building regs done, but tonight the origional builder phoned to confirm the date.

I mentioned building regs and he was very helpful, giving me numbers for the council etc and saying it was up to me. He, again, was very articulate and now I don't know whether to just use him, but to get regs done.
The trouble is, I need it done by the 2nd week of Sept as I'll be going back to uni, but no new builder will fit me in so soon...

When I visited the Philippines last year... I heard on one of Metro Manila's radio stations a phone in program where listeners voted on either Elvis or The Beatles for the GREAT rock&rollers of all time.

They were performers with no equal , revolutionary music still to be matched today, great composers equivalent to many of classic composers of yester year, The Beatles really took the world by STROM. So it is the Beatles for me.

I purchased a GE refrigerator through Home Depot, which we have had numerous problems with (see my other questions). The Home Depot has a feature that says review a product if you own it. I have attempted several times to post a review on this refrigerator model (a negative review to be sure but not vulgar in anyway!!) to warn fellow consumers. But no matter how many times I try to submit my review (over several weeks) the Home Depot's website still says - "No reviews, be the first to review this product." This is certainly dishonest , but is it actually false advertising - in that they HAVE recieved reviews?

What I'm thinking is no fossil could possibly survive that long. With rates of erosion, volcanoes, earthquakes shaking them violently hundreds, maybe thousands of times over that time period no fossil could survive that long. Maybe I'm wrong but how could anything that long ago even a fossil stay in tact until now.

ok for the past 2 months i have been sleepin with a boi,who at first i didnt know had a child,until the end of the second tim we did it,and to my knowledge he did not acknowledge the fact that his baby momma was his girlfriend,so since two days ago august 14 my frein jas saw her in the chinese store,and she made a joke,about the b.momm's son,she asked was i gonna come see him,so the girl turned around and looked at jasmine,so thats when the gilr asked do i go out with her baby daddy,cuz she saw pictures of me and jas in his phone,and i had to many of me in there b4 i didnt even know iw as in the phone.so now the girl is askin do we go out,how old was i and other stuff,so after the second time i did it to him,and i found out he had a baby,we did it one more time,jus one!so now the girl wanna talk to me.and im like i ain do s*** wrong now the other day jas,tell me he said come to his house,the b.momma i did,it woulda been a 4th time.so anyway am i wrong cuz i dont think i did anything.
