I'm not gonna make any excuses. I'm in a horrible position in my life because of myself, and I've got noone to blame. Honestly, I've thought about just giving up for quite some time now, but now, everything that's ever went wrong, every person I've had some sort of traumatic experience, seems to just be all around me (not figuratively; i mean literally).Ever since I was a kid, I've had poor self-esteem, and every day, *somebody* bashes something about me, to the point I actually wish I were dead.

I guess the stupidest part, though, is that the only reason I'm still hanging on, is because how much I love my family. I've brought up that I've had the feelings in the past, but they always seem to just totally dismiss it. Now, I'm broke, the only woman I ever cared about (and broke my heart) is moving back, and noone seems to even give a **** that I don't want to be around her. But the thought of my family being sad, because of me, makes me feel even more depressed. How can I start over?

I have no problem acting dancing in front of people, but this is different I'm standing there in front of teachers soem of hong kongs greatest educaters... Im nervous what should calm me down?

When its cold! A nice cold, crisp, refreshing, icy tart, lemon-lime beverage would cure my ails. However, I find a soda that tastes like it has too much corn syrup, and therefore too sweet, tastes horrible. (When its really cold, like arctic temperatures, that goes away.)

I can just use club soda and mix it with lemon or lime juice, or just make plane lemonade or limeade , but i don't have any lemon and limes nor club soda.

Background...we have never missed a month of rent before. We told our landlord on the 5th that we were going to be moving this month. and that we would pay her the rent up to the day that we are completely out. But pay her the day we leave. She told us we had until the 20th to be out. We never got an eviction notice for failure to pay or anything like that. We are in the middle of getting everything out right now, and yes, the house is a mess, cause we're putting things in 3 different places. Our temporary house, our house (we need to finish the remodel before we can move in), and storage. Today, i went to get another load from the house, and she had come and changed the locks. She left my husband a message on his cell phone today saying that she has filed an arrest warrant for me stealing her stove (which is in the garage on the property...it's gas, and I have 3 curious children, so we bought an electric). and for leaving her house a mess. We aren't done...Can she do this??

Alright, OD has come up a lot in the world, recently. At least it seems that way to me. So im doing research. (I do this randomly with things im not familiar with) And as much as i research, it doesnt say what pills kill people. Like i know, ODing on something for say acne, wouldnt kill you right? Im just wondering. Also, someone in my family once OD'ed but didnt die. And i was wondering like what type of perscription they took. IDK....im just curious on the subject. If anyone has any knowledge on the subject, please let me know!

My apartment managers and staff are all terribly rude. Every time I've had any sort of problem, it's been a serious hassle to deal with.

I've seen two baby roaches, on tonight and one yesterday night. It suddenly got super hot (105 degrees) and dry, so I thought maybe they just wandered in. If that's the case, i don't want to deal with the apartment people.

If that means there's some sort of infestation (I dunno, my apartment is pretty darn clean, but maybe it's a neighbor) I need to go through my apartment to get an exterminator.

What do you think?

this isnt me in this situation. im 21 and out of school. but twice tonight i have come across questions from girls who go to schools that require uniforms. one girl's mother gave away all her (the daughters) clothes away, and now this girl is reqired to be in her uniform at all times, unless she is in bed, even on non school days. the other girl who asked a similar question said she can wear differant clothes only on fridays, and during other special occasions, but the rest of the time she MUST be in her uniform.
here is where my question comes in. i understand these girls are underage and must abide by their parents rules, but doesnt this seem a little TOO extreme? it almost seems like a sort of minor form of abuse. i can imagine these girls get lauged at when they are the only one among their friends in a school uniform on a friday night...so mentally these girls must be kinda traumitized...idk, all of us answering these girls arent sure what to say. your thoughts?

I brew my own beer, but can not keep my house cold enough for the recommended yeast fermentation levels. At what temperatures do I risk killing the yeast? My house typically sits at around 80 degrees but can get up to ninety degrees Fahrenheit. Should the yeast be able to survive at these temperatures?

I know I shouldn't give any time of my day thinking about my ex, but I just can't figure out his intentions. Please help!

My ex and I broke up 3 month ago. The breakup was sudden but reasonable. Since the breakup, we have not contacted each other.

About two months ago, my ex started asking my friend about me -- how I've been doing and etc. About a month ago, he confessed to my friend that he'd been wanting to get back together with me.

Last week, my ex finally called me. He said he's been wanting to talk to me but didn't know if it was OK for him to contact me. He also said he wanted us to be friends and hang out sometimes. I agreed to be friends with him and we shook on it amicably.

It's been a week, but I have not heard from him since. Did he really wanted to be friends with me? Or did he contact me just to put closure to what we had?
