My sister has seen a lot of ghosts and the last time was this morning at work. Is there a way to "close" this so she won't see them anymore?

I just saw citizen X a weekly program in CNN IBN which is also available on this link >>>> http://www.ibnlive.com/news/indian-citizenship-on-sale-and-its-for-cheap/46601-3.html please checks this & give your observations. One has to just spend few thousands of rupees & get all those legal documents (passport, driving licence, voter’s I D card, pan card, birth certificate etc) that will prove his/her Indian Identity even if no such person actually exist. Just imagine how much time you spend in getting all those documents if you follow the usual procedure provided under the law & many a times you face lots of problem getting them. We celebrate our 60th year of Independence & proudly call us Indian, are we really free from the corruption eating our democratic roots ? What we should do about our corrupt Bureaucracy along with corrupt Political system? Wishing You All A Happy 60th Independence Year.

married for 16 years :

My wife and I have opened up sexually to one another over the past three years, I have found out her fantasies and desires and likewise she now knows mine, all of witch I am cool with. However, it now feels like she uses these fantasies and desires only as a tool to gain financial reword or to get something that she wants. The last thing being a house in Crete.

Any advice or anyone in the same position.

I am looking for a Linux distribution that is easy-to-use. I used windows since version 3.11 was out (that's before Windows 95) and I am ready to try something new. Do you know of any Linux distribution that is "user-friendly"?

My house has several big things wrong with it (foundation, electrical wiring, plumbing), and a lot of little things (siding is ugly, windows are decayin, many of the doorknobs don't work properly, the front door is beat up, cracks in the walls around windows, no light fixtures, no bathroom exhaust fan, the list could go on). I'm prepared to sell my home for much less than others in my neighborhood, but I want to get the best price possible without being dishonest.

I've never sold a house, let alone a fixer-upper. I know that I should sell it "as is" but don't know much more than that. Can someone with experience please advise me?

Thanks!

You actually hear music and tones and melodies. That's beautiful. You hear actual awesome bass. you hear drums with fill ins and complex patterns. you hear saxophone. you hear awesome piano and piano solos. you hear flute and many other instruments.

What's wrong with it? nothing! So why Jazz purists and other people say it's fake music and keep cursing at it.

Whocares if it's not improvisation....There have been many awesome vocal songs which are not improvised. And by the way, i don't know where you're living but names gain different meanings as years go by. So just because it's not your 1950's jazz, doesn't mean it's not jazz. It's 2007 jazz.

ok, so i am going to start walking on the treadmill i just purchased one for my husband who is training for the police acadamy and so i wanted to start using it. now i was thinking of doing it early in the morning b/c i have heard that it gives a boost in your metabolism, but then i figured why not do it at night instead maybe around 6 or 7 after the entire day of all the food and stress, would'nt that be a bit more relaxing? i just wanted to know peoples opinion on it, does it really make a difference what time of the day you work out? i want to make sure that i am getting in all my meals and i want to have it at a timely basis. like have breakfast, lunch & dinner at a certain time everyday. please if anyone can give me their opinion.. thanks

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070811/ap_on_he_me/life_expectancy

The United States is now down to 42nd in life expectancy worldwide--and many of the nations ahead of us have socialized medicine.

I DON'T favor socialized medicine--but I'd like to see the right-wing's explanation for why a national health care system (not the same thing as socializeed medicine) wouldn't be as good as what we have--when the evidence says otherwise.

Any takers?
