ok, so i am going to start walking on the treadmill i just purchased one for my husband who is training for the police acadamy and so i wanted to start using it. now i was thinking of doing it early in the morning b/c i have heard that it gives a boost in your metabolism, but then i figured why not do it at night instead maybe around 6 or 7 after the entire day of all the food and stress, would'nt that be a bit more relaxing? i just wanted to know peoples opinion on it, does it really make a difference what time of the day you work out? i want to make sure that i am getting in all my meals and i want to have it at a timely basis. like have breakfast, lunch & dinner at a certain time everyday. please if anyone can give me their opinion.. thanks

Honestly if you can do it in the morning it does give you a boost and knock the cobwebs away in your head (at least my head anyway). Working out at night is fine as long and you have ample time to rest before going to bed. Working out directly before going to bed can really disrupt sleep.

Also too...if you work out in the morning it can really help with curbing your appetite. When I finish working out....eating is the last thing I want to do.

Again either is fine...just doing it is 90% of the battle. Good luck!

It does not matter one bit what time of day you exercise. The important thing is that you do it. Remember to walk fast enough to get your heartrate up, and keep it up for at least 40 minutes. Your treadmill routine should take about one hour to allow for warm up and cool down. Also, use the incline as much as you can for extra calorie burn. I sometimes even put light ankle weights on for even more calorie burn. Good luck to you!

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website

It doesn' t matter what time you work out. Everybody is different. I work out in the late afternoon. Thats just when my body likes it. I have tried to work out in the morning but I am not at my optimum then. Just listen to your body and see when you have the most energy. Thats when you should work out.

whenever you can do it is fine. if I don't walk in the morning, I know I won't walk later on in the day. if you can walk in the evening on the treadmill, that's great. just don't do it too close to bedtime. it might make it harder for you to sleep.
