The fact that women were inferior to men in the past is one thing, but for the bible itself to encourage such thoughts and people still look up at it is beyond me! I guess people back then who believed in the bible and oppressed women couldn't really be blamed...for they were merely following what the bible told them to do! Women were inferior as a fact of life back then, but why would God Himself encourage it? Since when did God have to set laws according to man's desire?

1 Cor. 14:34 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the LAW. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a SHAME for women to speak in the church."
(It is shameful for women to say anything in church??!!)

ok- I have known this guy since Kindergarden, And I really like him, but I am scared to ask him out. And if I ask him out and he says no then our friendship will go down the toilet. Do you call your time of worship (or whatever) Church or a Mass?

Question Two:
What Days do you go on?

Question Three:
Is your... gospel thing called a Bible or something else?

Question Four:
I understand that you do not let anyone that isn't Mormon into the building where everyone comes to worship, but is it okay to hand out the book of holiness that you err, read?

I was thinkin the other day about this. What if there was a cure for cancer,aids,diabetes? What if there was a great leader who could slove all the problem of this great country? What if those people were victums of abortions? And now, we will never slove these problems because we killed the people who would have eventionally sloved them?

My german shepherd is 4 yrs old and is knuckling and has a drunk gait.?

Blood panels have been run, xrays and most illnesses have been ruled out. He is getting worse everyday and is scheduled to have a MRI on Monday. He is also scratching a phantom itch with his hind leg regularly. He is seeing a neurologist but they do not have any answers either. Does anyone have any ideas?

Now, they want me to take it again within two weeks.
Why?

What is the solution that they put in the needle that goes under your skin? Is it the TB infection itself in a low dose?

My ex and I have been divorced for 7 years now..when we split up, I didn't want allimony nor do I want child support..I told my lawyers that when my son is with me, I take care of expenses and when he is with his dad, he pays for expenses..no big deal..The judge still awarded me child support but I don't make my ex give it to me..and in return, he's been absolutely greatful and has been paying for my son's school just because..all our assets we just split in half and I really didn't want to take advantage of him in any way..

People have said I was stupid and all that for not asking for more..Why is it that I'm weird for being civil and it's normal for women to take their husbands assets and want allimony too??
