Most people are just looking for a feeling that they have meaning. Meaning gives our lives self worth. Our minds often connect the praise of others with self worth. So one way to get the feeling of worth is to seek praise. To do this, do something praiseworthy such as volunteer at a hospital then freely praise yourself and imagine the praise of others.
Real meaning, on the other hand, can only come from living for a real purpose, i.e. why we were put on this earth. Real purpose, by the very definition, requires a Creator/God. If we believe in God, seek Him.

Life is one of those games where the object of the game is to determine the object of the game.
People have free will. That means that the meaning and purpose of your life is up to YOU! Your life is what you make of it!
I know some people would rather have these things decided for them. I think that's just sad! Me, I'd rather decide for myself what my life is going to be about. Hopefully you too.

Knowledge and wisdom can be acquired through experience and it can also be acquired in our observations of the world and others.
