No, verizon was orginally offered a contract to have the iphone but they declined.

Nope. Im sry to say that Apple signed an exclusive contract with AT&T/Cingular for two years. Until then iPhones are exclusively carried on AT&T. They are all locked, and cannot recieve service form any other carrier. Sadly you will be sans-iPhone unless you can either
A: get out of your verizon contract
or B: Somehow manage to get a black market iPhone that you somehow disguise as some other phone during the process of registering it with Verizon and recieving service on. (But fir some reason I find that scenario implausible, if not impossible because Verizon does not offer the same services. lol)
There area a variety of slightly less impressive smart phones that you can use on Verizon, but none equal the iconic status of the iPhone, and connot match its multi-touch technology. SRY =/

No, Verizon doesn't have the iphone, but you should never buy first generation devices. They're flawed and expensive. Wait for the next model of the iphone to come out, by which time it should be more widely available and for sale at more cell phone service providers.

No. In the US, Apple is only partnering with AT&T. (I don't know if things are different for the iPhone outside the US.) But the iPhone is getting so much attention that I'll guess that other phone makers will introduce similar phones soon.

no. its completely impossible at this point to get an iphone from any other company than cingular. they have an agreement with apple right now where the iphone cant be sold with any other cell phone company but cingular. i feel your pain buddy, i go through sprint and i want an iphone sooo badly. just going to have to wait it out. sorry

iphone are only available through AT&T, am sure eventually verizon will come out with one almost like it. U can try ebay.

No not right now. Only AT&T has it right now. It will release to other phone company's when the big excitement and the major profits are finished.

Nope. Unfortunately, you have to have cingular/att in order to use one. They have a contract with them or something.

No you cant the iPhone is for ATT network only.
