Why would you abandon a musical act because of one thing that was said about George W. Bush? Do you not believe in the 1st Amendment (that's the right to free speech)? Or does that only apply when an artist says something to kiss the government's a**... kinda like what Toby Keith did.

When I vote, I go with the candidate that best fits what I feel are major concerns. They all talk and most of the time don't do anything. So far, John Edwards is the only one I've seen speaking up for the middle class which has become a very important issue, with regards to jobs being lost. Sometimes I think people classify themselves as liberals and conservatives because they feel more comfortable fitting inside a class and group of people, instead of stepping aside, gathering there own thoughts, opinions, and ideas, and becoming an individual.

My two dogs (and cat) eat this certain type of grass that grows in my yard. The stem grows very tall, and it has leaves that look like a blade of grass. They always graze on the leaves, and sometimes even throw up after. Why do they do this?

If there is no God, how did the earth come to be? The earth, the galaxy surely did not poof out of no where, you do not get something from nothing. Since a higher power only seems to be the answer; wouldn't that mean that we were created from a higher power as well. If the Earth did pop out of no where, how did it form organisms to create complex creatures. And if thats the case, how do we know if God intended us to be evolved or not anyway?
What I'm saying is, isn't a God the only way we could be in existence. I mean I understand people thinking we evolved, but the galaxy and Earth forming did not come out of no where.

All of my friends RSVPed, except one. She is still UNDECIDED (!!!).
I asked her friend why? Turned out she is upset she is not a bridesmaid .
We never really kept in touch after graduation. I invited her because she is my bridesmaid's best friend.
I got a feeling she wants me to ask (beg) her personally to attend my wedding. I thought the invitation was enough!

Should I do it, so everyone is happy? Or just let her be?

I play the viola and guitar and I'm taking lessons for both. I have the same teacher for both instruments and I have lessons about once a week. I just need some good books so I can read up on music theory, fundamentals, and famous composers because my teacher always asks me questions about those things and I never know the answers. I noticed that some people (whether on this site or in the real world) feel that we must all be the same in order to be considered an American. Now don't get me wrong, I don't object to getting an education, having a succesful career, and being a (just-) law abiding citizen, but on the same side, we should not discriminate against others who feel that this is not the way of life they wish to choose (providing, of course, that the way of life they choose is not harmful to themselves or anyone else).
