I really want to do cheerleading. it is me last year at my school, and i want to cheerlead more than anything. But my mom wont let me. she comes up with any excuse she can to keep me away from it. she says that cheerleaders are show offs and they are snobs and preps. But thats only a stupid stereotype. How can i convince her that cheerleading is not bad and to let me cheer!?!

I hear many differing opinions regarding the trend of young girls wearing shorts with writing across the @ss--writing like "obey," "flirt," "follow," "sexy," etc.--some also have the names of schools and organizations. Obviously, having writing anywhere on your clothes brings attention. Is this a harmless fashion statement, or is there more to it? What do you think clothing manufacturers were thinking when they decided to make the clothing?

I have an older BassPro boat that came with a custom made heavy canvas cover. I beIieve it is made of cotton, but is the typical canvas material and not plastic. I would like to apply a water repellant to it. Also, when patching small holes and re-stitching seams that come loose, what kind of thread is available that is water, rot and UV resistant?

I would appreciate hearing from those who have indeed actually tried the products they wish to discuss.

I can understand thousands of years ago why there was a need to populate the earth. But now with 6 billion+ people and counting, does anyone of the religious persuasion think that's too many? Or does God just want people to keep reproducing with no end in sight? Is 10 billion still not enough? What about more?

I was approved for a credit one bank credit card online. At the end of the application it said after your identity verification your card will be mailed to you. How do they verify my identity and when should I get the card? I tried going back on the website to check the card status and all it said was that your account or application had already been processed. Thanks.

I recently purchased a 49cc scooter on ebay with only a pull start, no electric start. When I first tried to start the scooter, the pull start broke and the cup peice that fit inside of it. I recently got replacement parts for it and now the pull start wont rewind into itself when on the scooter. There is nothing wrong with the parts it's just the pull start won't wind up after being pulled out. If I loosen the bolts and pull this starter out, then the cord will wind up again. The engine can also start when I pull, and if I pull the starter out a little it will wind back in. Shortly after something will start clicking and then the engine will stall. The scooter is an older version of the x-treme xg505, without an electric start. This link shows what the parts for the starter look like. http://www.rabbitscooters.com/products/gscooter_parts.htm
It is the rectangular starter pawl and the first pull start I am dealing with. A little complex, but if anyone can help, thank you.

How many out there use a vibe during intercourse? Like, holding it on the "spot" while you are doing it. Just curious. my wife always uses one. My doctor told me I have a high strand of HPV but he didn't tell me which one. I don't know if they can tell which one. I know my pap came back normal. However, I was HPV positive HIGH. It is still scarey for me. I have begun to excerise more and take plenty of immune booster and eat well.

My friend has bought a 5 gallon fish tank and wants to put two 1" goldfish in there, will they be happy and is that enough room??? Her tank is well filtered and she changes a 3rd of the water every two weeks and changes the filter once every four weeks. I recently had a really good interview last week Wednesday. My potential employer told me he would personally call the manager I will be working with to make sure she sets up a time to meet with me. It is now Tuesday morning, and I have yet to hear from anyone. Should I give him an email telling him I'm still interested and please let me know if there's anything more information I can give?
