I really want to do cheerleading. it is me last year at my school, and i want to cheerlead more than anything. But my mom wont let me. she comes up with any excuse she can to keep me away from it. she says that cheerleaders are show offs and they are snobs and preps. But thats only a stupid stereotype. How can i convince her that cheerleading is not bad and to let me cheer!?!

Talk to her. That's how it was with my dad. Last year he didn't want me to tryout. He said cheerleaders were only in it to wear short skirts and to get guys. Which is a horrible stereotype. So, I talked to my dad a lot. Then, I had him come to tryouts!! I told him to come and see how hard it is, and it's not as simple as it seems. I made the team, and my dad was right there watching. He never realised how much flexablility, teamwork, tumbling skills, and fit you have to be to make it. Have your mom come to try out practices or to try outs. Show her how much this would mean to me.

Tell her it will keep you out of trouble. Plus you are apart of a team. Team oriented activities help high school students. Also, if you keep your grades up and become an excellent cheerleader you can get a scholarship for cheerleading.

I suppose you're studying anything right here. one million) Rules are regulations. It does not subject if others holiday them, if you happen to do.. then you definitely endure the penalties. -she will get mad at me considering the fact that I come again overdue two) Coaches have regulations that are supposed to be adopted. It would be that she is indignant with HIM simply being there. - She thinks he is a distraction simply considering the fact that he watches us train. three) Cheerleading is not only an induhvidual factor.. its a staff factor. Quitting might harm the staff. four) Your mother is correct.. I wager she has invested over $one thousand already. Now... if you happen to might love to pay her again instantly the cash she has spent.. then satisfactory... however she spent it with an expectation that you just might begin what you conclude. If you wish to "purchase out your agreement" together with her.. definite.. pay her the $one thousand again.. however do not move whining to her that you just wish again on subsequent yr or assume her to shell out the dollars for the following enormous factor you wish to check out. I rather suppose you will have to do the next: one million) Tell the BF that you're going to see him after train and that he is not going to come to train anymore. two) Be on time to train and on time coming back from breaks. Then.. see how the educate begins treating you. I wager it's going to difference. I wager your degree of attempt will difference. What I suppose will occur: one million) you can retain to wine and whinge approximately how your mother is not being reasonable. two) you'll discover a option to get thrown off the squad. three) your bf will unload you quickly after four) you'll wine and whinge to get again at the squad and the whinge to all people considering the fact that the educate may not allow you to again at the squad five) you'll hate your mom considering the fact that she's going to make a decision that she is not inclined to spend $$ on the whole lot you wish considering the fact that of this *sigh*

your mom obviously has resentment towards cheerleaders.. maybe she was turned down at tri-outs when she was younger... You should have a good talk with your mom because she should not put on any limitations on what enjoyment you have in highschool. How are your grades?? Def. have a talk with her ..Good luck
