The light flux carries an image information to the eyes which enables us to see.
Light enters the eye first thru the CORNEA
then thru the iris and the pupil which regulate the intensity of light by restricting its opening.
After that it enters the lens=which focuses the images
An then travels thru vitrius humor to the retina which is basically a screen, where the image is projected.
The retina contains special cells which respond to light pressure and frequencies of the light radiation.It consists of 120 millions rods and 7 millions cones.
From these cells on the retina a nerve called the optic nerve sends a signal to the brains which interprets it as an image.
The Movement of the eyes is executed by muscles which are controlled by cranial nerves.
